What's really anoying is when instead of the youtube logo is something special, and you want to see what it's about, and you put your mouse on it and it dosn't tell you. Plus I hate it when you click a video twice, and it fullscreens it.

i dont mind all these changes except the fact that you cant scroll through the related vids without moving the whole page .oh and the fact that they are suggestions and not related anymore.and the new high def is fucking with playback ratio on older vids,and adverts and timer bar invasion into vid aswell as black arrow box to bring back advert invades the vid,unsightly black banners when you hover especially the subscribe as it cover title ..yeah apart from that its all good

It would be nice if Youtube just went back to the "Original" style when the volume was on the right, the videobox was smaller, you only had to click once to favorite, when you could see the rating of a video before you watched it, when there were streams, when there were bulitens, and many more. Youtube is actually decreasing the comunity's overall respect and fun expeince of what Youtube once was.

Makes me sad.

The new layout is nowhere near awesome. YouTube's UI designers have lost their senses and sites have pretended to like it so that this would not repel people who do not go on YouTube where in fact they hate it as much as intelligent users like me.

@hash2196 No, the new layout is WORSE than the old one by a longshot. YouTube has traded quality design and bandwidth for a crappy yet cleaner design. Why didn't they kept the structure of the old layout. It was almost PERFECT. This is NOT.

Agreed, the stars rating was better than this stupid like dislike system because it showed an average rating for a video, ranging from an awful to excellent video. LIKE and DISLIKE is too limited for feedback and just does not work.

Who the hell thinks about and/or uses all these clunky features? I've had a Youtube account pretty much since it's inception and have watched literally thousands of videos. However, I've never once bothered to look at all this crap. I don't even communicate with people. At best, I might subscribe to an account on very rare occasions. They're nice features, I guess, if you're an obsessive who socializes on online. But for people like me who simply watch videos, all this other stuff is just bloat.

Nice guide... But I hate the new layout. I personally think the comments look messy and are arranged weirdly because thwy're out of chronological order. Underbar is also not as good sounding as sidebar. Plus, people pointing down at the underbar is also slightly sexually suggestive... Shane definitely caught onto that. And because I'm paranoid and a jerk, I'm going to be an Internet troll and say that YouTube paid you to do this although that makes no sense.

@LexissBaaby Despite YouTube having improved it over time, the new YouTube is nonetheless inferior to the previous layout. They could have pulled off a terrific layout if they just updated the old one in terms of design and stuff, even having included new features, not replacing it with something too different for the worse which they did. They also could have reduced the 5 stars into 3 stars. 1 star representing Dislike, 2 meaning Neutral and 3 being Like.

First: if someone spams a comment in your vid, and ur like:

i dont think it is spam, u can't UNspam it, and it doesn't even show the message anymore O_O'

Second: it took me a while to find out how to post a videoresponse ! it is just hidden !

Third: the description box is also hidden, people won't easy click on it to see what it all says...
