yeah... there's no logic in this entire game... none in the send... third... or fourth! stupid Final Fantasy freakin remake with Disney characters... it's still and aswesome game!... kinda... sorta... not really... in kh1, the better choice is atk cause it helps in later game, in kh2, its better to choose defence, cause u get enough damage the way it is, so it would be better for defence so u dont get your ass handed to u

What I do is for both games I make a save point right after the tutorials/opening cut scenes and I never use it again. Then if I want to start a new game I don't have to watch the opening again : ) Although I really do like the song.

I think what you choose in the beginning does effect what abilities you get at what level. My sister got the sword and got rid of the staff too. I got the shield and kept the sword and we got different abilities at different levels.

I'm pretty sure the weapons just choose how long it takes for you to learn certain abilities and scrambles the order
