I listened to this the whole way through while lying in bed and in the dark.

Its a very beautiful record, but its a fucking bad trip. It scared the shit out of me then and it still does now.

There's a part where a surgeon ( i imagine...) is operating on our subject with a scalpel, and if you're wearing headphones, you actually feel like someone's scraping at the inside of your head!!

Also, the way the being descends into the core of this place is so progressively transcending. In particular here though, I love the emergence of the scaled, mountainous creature and the way it plods with a hovering contortion in synchrony to the so very applicable segment from Delìrium Còrdia. Phenomenal.
