THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO, YOU ARE THE BEST GUITARIST AND INSTRUCTOR ON YOU YOU TUBE, AND SINCE I FOUND YOUR SITE I NEVER WATCH ANYTHING ELSE. THANK,S ALOT.
This is a great video. I'm using to learn the solo to this song. You do a great job of teaching. It's the best I've seen, of this song, on youtube. Thank you.
Thanks for taking the time to show us lesser mortals how to play great music its nice that people like yourself can share your knowledge to try and help others like myself , I have been playing about a year and a half now and vids like this are a fantastic way to learn keep them coming , nice collings by the way
thanks for your kind post and taking time to check this out! I live in central KY, i am in a couple of bands and get to play out quite a bit which i really enjoy. Hope you are doing very well my friend,
great stuff spot on, keep them lessons coming it saves me a lot of time working them out. just getting back into a band and its awesome how much stuff is out there to help you learn songs. this generation has it to easy
i agree - wish i half the resources when we were getting started!! Oh well there is something to be said for working it out yourself as well. Great to hear about your music, keep rockin!
Hi Dale, I just subscribed to your site. Really enjoy your great lessons, which are some of the best I've seen on YouTube! Could you also give me a little info on your gear.
Is the Fulldrive 2 the Mofset? and Is your Headstrong Lil King the 112 combo 12 Watt? Could you please let me know the specs? Your sound is awesome- hence the tonedr !!! Thanks Dave
Dave, thanks for subscribing and your kind feedback is greatly appreciated! My FT pedal is not the mofset, it is the Fulldrive 2 pedal maybe older than the Mofset.....it is light blue in color, just has 4 knobs, volume/tone/overdrive/boost. my Headstrong is the 1x12 - 12 watt - i LOVE IT!! Thanks for your questions and all the best with your music - please stay in touch,
It's nice to see you taking time to do these kind of lessons. I'm a baby boomer in a classic rock band, and there are times when I need to make sure I'm playing my riffs the right way or just need a little reinforcement. I will be checking your video lessons on a regular basis from here on in.
dude, that was great. nice tone and it emulates the studio version. it sounds about 98% right except at the end, at about 9:30. it sounds like it is missing a couple notes. whadayathink?
I have extra light strings and i when i bend the small strings the other other strings are getting caught under my finger. Should I go to other strings
Wow Laulau! I am deeply touched, I never expected a reply to my comment. The computer has never met my expectations, but this one gesture has really changed my attitude towards it. I look forward to viewing more of your videos, God Bless You Tonedr.
I have been playing for 30+ years. this is a very good video. I like the way you present the guitar, easy to see. i waslooking for a refresher and this did the trick. Thanks.
i presently have a gibson es 347 with humbuckers and think the collings i-35 is
perfection. the intonation of the 347 is not
perfect as you move on up the neck it goes out of tune . i have really thought hard about trading it in for an i-35 but the 347 has ebony fretboard and the neck is wider than the i-35. i think i could get use to the width but question the slickness of the i-35 for bending and vibrato. what do you think?
sounds like you have a great guitar that you might miss if you let it go - but I agree the I-35 is something very special and it might erase a lot of pain. I LOVE the guitar - love to hear if you make any changes,
That was a good lesson. It helped me a fair bit. Ta. The problem is, I'm a tad forgetful, and I'll probably forget all the fretboard positions you use. I have a tab, but it's all in different positions, and your version is quite a bit easier than mine. Do you have the tabs for your video? If so, that would be a major help.
That's alright. I'll just adjust my tab so it fits. Can you play the solo to Wishing Well? I've been trying to figure that one out for ages, but tabs for solos never make any sense to me.
hard to give tips without seeing what a player may or may not be doing. As a general rule for a hammer keep your hand postion more 'squared' with the fretboard if perhaps your are angled towared the nut. Thanks for giving this a look and i hope all is good!
Thanks for the video. Was a great help. You got it up really fast too. Thanks for putting it up as I know I was the one who asked you to. much appreciated.
