Hi. First, nice video. I've got an AAC SPR/M4 suppressor and I just recently picked up an FS2000. How would you compare the sound suppression levels on the FS2000 w/halo to a 16" barreled AR with suppressor? Are you noticing any gas blowback through the inspection cover? How about POI shift from the thin barrel?

@kilroymcb very comperable to the AR platform from a spectator perspective on the sound I have shot mine along side my buddys M4 with the AAC 2000 but the noise is very different from the shooters perspective. you hear the shot from inside the gun more than on an AR. no noticable accuracy shift but you better shoot it in a ventelated range or outside because the blowback in a still environment will make your eyes water.

I you have time could you make a vid showing the layout of this rifle. The FS2000 will be my next rifle and I hope to fabricate a layout much like yours minus the silencer. Great vid though.

The forend is modded as a triple rail mount, No reliability issues whatsoever, works like a charm. :-)

hehe... thanks for the info. Would you trust your life to this weapon? A lot of people are saying that FN/FS 2000 is just a range toy and was not meant to be used for serious use

I have 8 other battle rifles including three AR-15's ( a Colt and two rock rivers ) and a M1A Socom and this is one of the only guns that I can honestly say I would trust my life to.

I don't know, 15000 rounds without a single jam. I have had a couple rounds with bad primers but for those you just cycle the action and problem solved.

You can hear from the dryfire at the end of the video just how quiet this gun is, even with full powered 5.56mm ammo.
