You're amazing:) you know, i have been wondering a lot ab a good way to remove the make up without ruvbbing the eye too much because of rubbing, appear wrinkles...and you showed the perfect way! thank you very much!
Wow! This was amazingly helpful, I've been having the same problem after using a very dark mascara, but your lashes look very healthy. I'm going to add this to my routine, Thanks! :)
This is a *great* idea, I'm absolutely trying it. The only thing is that the video is a bit blown out at times so it's kind of hard to see the difference between the eye with and without makeup, but that could also be because you have really thick lashes. I've been avoiding eye makeup because it's such a hassle - thanks for the advice!
Wow! Great idea covering, protecting and removing makeup from below the eye. I've had that problem with staining below while removing make up and you taught me a great new way. Thank you!
this is so smart! i get dark crap under my eyes when i take off my makeup too and so i started trying to like fold my square in half and kind of pinching the mascara off my eyes (since i dont wear too much eyeshadow) but occasionally i mess up and get it under my eyes.... I'm definitely trying this tonight =) thank you
Thank you so much for making this video!! I have the same problem removing eye makeup as so much residue ends up under my eyes and my eyes are really sensitive. I also use Vitamin E cream on my eyes, which doesn't sting also.
@disisdaworld I know you think you're funny and hurtful by pointing out that I have thin hair, but if you read my blog you will see an article all about my hair loss and what's it's like to have it. There's nothing you can say that will make me feel bad about something I cannot help and is the result of an incurable disease.
You don't need any eye make up at all! You have such gorgeous shaped eyes and when you took off the eye make up, it didn't look different at all from your other eye. Basically, I'm saying you don't need any eye make up. You have gorgeous eyes!
Happy anniversary oxfordjasmin! You really DO offer some of the best, most practical tips. Outstanding videos. Your side comments on what's going on off camera are always enjoyable too. Kitties, butterflies on lavender.... Very sweet.
Omg your amazing! this is just what i need to make as I'm always tugging at my eye to get the make up especially when i've been out and had a lot of eye make up on. i was getting worried about ageing lol and thought i look online so thanks!!
If you dont have any olive oil, you can use just pure potro. jelly.
i JUST used it, and it worked amazing.BUT make sure you wash off your face, to get all the excess off. I used Qtips, its soo easy! takes about 10 mins, but, i had a ton of liquit liner, all over my eyes, JUST testing it(:
okay not to be mean or anything, i just really want some help. does everyone notice how her face is quite shiny? well mine is like that or greasy w/ e u want to call it but im just desperate to know how to get rid of that. Please help me!!!
Have you tried using pond cold cream? It keeps your face moisturize. If you're gentle with your face while removing your makeup it should also be helpful as well.
this is a great idea i.when i go to take my makeup especially my mascara always leaves a smudge on my bottom eye. so whenever i have no makup on i always have a grey black circle.its really annnoying .how can i cover these up?i will definatly try your way of taking the makeup off tomorrow x
I definitely will try this. Now my under eyes won't feel raw and stinging after removing mascara :) Maybe my ever present purplish-blue circles are really stains! 5 stars again *****
Awesome Video! Aww we didnt get to see your cat :( absolutely adore animals :) Look forward to seeing more great video's! Your channel is definitely one of my fav's!!
I use a skin toner with witch hazel, alcohol and dionised water. I take my make up off with it and use after I wash my face. It removes the remaining soap residue, removes dirt/oil and tighten up your pores.
i love your videos so much. this is so helpful because i tend to be a bit rough on my skin/eyes at the end of the day and just rub it off with my eyemakeup remover. thanks so much!!!
Tired this techinique last night with waterproof mascara etc and it worked brilliantly with no pulling on the delicate undereye skin, thanks again Jasmine, much appreciated.
This is the best idea! I'm going to have to get some round pads now.
I was worried if I rubbed too much I'd cause wrinkles.
I don't know if you'll see this suggestion, but could you do videos on wrinkle prevention? I'm only 24, but I want to counter fine lines before they start!
Hi, I'm one of your fan! I'm from Italy and I would like to know if it is possible to link your video to my blog about make up, beauty and things like that...
Thanks OJ! This video as a great help. I use a little baby oil before I used my facewash nd my makeup came off with no problem and nothing was left behind.
I love this technique but never thought to do it myself at home. My esthetician does this too. I agree I always feel like I am staining the skin under my eyes. I'm going to try this tonight. Any tips or tricks for removing glitter liner?
Very useful! You're so right my mascara always transfers to my undereye, such a simple solution that will prevent damage to my delicate undereye skin, I'm so grateful for the tip, thanks so much. Clinique's "Take the day off" is gentle and NEVER leaves any residual make-up even with lots of eye/lip make up. It's gentle and no need to rub hard at all.
I love this technique the most. I too discovered this from my beauty therapist and have since then used it to remove even the most difficult of makeup that would normally require scrubbing it off.
I usually take my makeup with olive oil. But, I'm loving this method so much. I usually use cotton balls but, I will definitely run out to a drugstore today and get some of those cotton pads to take off my makeup.
This seems a much better method than the one I use...I'll have to try it tonight. :) Thanks for the idea!
About the baby oil replies.....You could just substitute it in this method for the makeup remover you currently use. I think the method here is the most important part, by keeping the makeup debris from getting into your eye and buiding up on your skin. :)
You shouldn't use Baby OIl as a Makeup remover as it can cause Milia.
It's something that looks similar to acne but are actually tiny cysts (1 to 2 mm in size) that are growths of keratin that develop mostly around the eye area. They are permanent and cannot be reversed without surgery.
The molecules of Baby Oil, as well as extra oily creams/lotions, are much too large to be absorbed properly by the tiny pores around our eyes
Thank you I've also seen that video from queen of blending. I've no milia and I've been using this for years. The rosewater and glycerin toner immediately removes the oil so it is not absorbed by the skin. It is of course your choice whether to use it or use a high quality oil.
