This cat looks "exactly" like my scrappy who is 9 months old. He was a homeless kitten, who wondered in the kitchen and started eating speekys(my other cat who also was homeless) food. He is a character. I named him that, because he would eat anything from peanut butter to dunkin donuts.

The French Chartreux (aka Certosino) cat has orange eyes.

The short-haired blue cats w/ green (from peridot to emerald) eyes are the Russian Blue (double coat w/ silver tips) and the Thai Korat (single coat w/ silver tips). The Nebelung is similar to a Russian Blue but w/ long hair.

AFAIK, these are the true blue breeds, i.e. all members of the breed come in blue and only blue.

Whatever the breed, blue cats rule!

I wasnt sure if mine was a blue either . But now i just realize hes a big heavy boy thats all. He looked nice and thin when he was younger lol. Allso from just reading abit i notice the Russians have green/yellowish eyes were as that French breed is more amber

They must really have green eyes, darker the better for judging standards. But they do vary quite a bit from yellowish green to brown-green. This looks like a slightly older cat - even within the breed they have changed abit over the last ten years.
