That young Widmore actor is a remarkable likeness to older Widmore. This show has incredible attention to detail in that respect. How do they find such amazing likenesses?
Too bad they never came up with the real backstory about why the Others were there in the freaking first place. I mean if they were Candidates way back in 1954 why didn't Jacob just pick one of them? What disqualified them?
@FlamingoKicker The candidates were gradually brought there over time like Julietr, Ben and his dad, telling the story of how each one got to the island would take too long. Jacob didn't need anyone to replace him while he was alive, and many of them were brought there simply to protect the candidates.
