So, I'm guessing you could seriously maim someone with that thing. Think you could fend off an attacker with it? Because of some personal issues, I've been thinking of learning some self defense techniques. I'm kinda leaning towards the whip because...well obviously nothing says kickass more than a whip, right? How many years until I could train enough to defend myself? 6? 7?

it would be really awesome if you did a video on how to wrap and grab. i know you did it already, i saw it a hundred times, but it would be perfect if you did one more instructional and really precise on how to do it perfectly. for instance, when to crack the whip according to the position of the target, if we have to pull the whip on a side when it's begun to wrap etc.. maybe it's all about de longis's "railroad track", but you're a professional, you could teach us :)

when i 10 i was swinging with my 12 footer but i dont do it. It puts a lot of stress on the whip

@job1866 Actually you can get a good nylon paracord whip for about 70-200 dollars! Their are lots of good nylon whip makers out their. Just google nylon bullwhips and you'll find a whole bunch of them:)
