The camera is as solid as you'd expect from a prosumer camera. It's very compact which is essential. The only issue I can see is getting sand or dust in the side fan or through the grille on the top (where the 5.1 micas are located). But it's a small price to pay for the lovely quality IMHO.
I am planning a world tour, and I want this sort of quality, but I need a bit of durability (you can't plan for everything that happens in the city, or the jungle, or the desert)
Obviously a wonderful Camcorder, wonderful subject matter, and you have a great eye for composition and sensitivity. My TM700 is on order and I can't wait. Thanx for sharing and if you can elaborate on the editing that would be great. I have PC & Mac, I assume you edited in PC.
Shot in 1080 50p, converted to ProRes 422 HD though compressed to enable the size to be uploadable! Toast and FCP. Thanks for the lovely comments guys.
Thank you maltydragon - it is a breathtaking place.

Great video and music! Did you shoot it @ 1080p60? How did you edit the footage? What output format you used?
