You started out with 35% relapse then you said 8 out of 10 relapse? That's 80%. The sad truth is that relapse rates are much higher. They are closer to 95%. Tradition 12 step recovery programs have a 5% with or 5% without and these are numbers from AA GSO.
5% is the normal remission rate so I guess they can claim that Santa Claus kept them sober.
