TCI used to be my cable provider as well back in the days before Time Warer came in and took over the area. TCI seemed to be really good in regard to deploying WS 4000's at their headends very early on. My area got one sometime before August 1990, and I dont even live in a "major market" area.
In my area, we used to have TCI too. We didn't get our 4000 until like around the Spring of 1993 (I can't remember exactly, but I do know we got ours in '93).
The spring and summer of 1997 were very cool in the Detroit area, comfortable but it kept the lakes COLD!!!
