  • Uh, sorry but DID THAT UGLY YELLOW NAIL POLISH CHIP OFF INTO THE FOOD?!? Cooks should NOT be making vdos with that kind of nastiness; either use gloves, or take the time to remove that contamination before handling food for the masses....duh?

I am American and live in France and it is very hard to get Asiatic food here of good type, so I rely on my old training in NYC and some good Asiatic cookbooks, but videos help. I find poultry and any soy product unhealthy but I can often skip them. These Asiatic methods are good to know because they add variety to the family table. This is pretty good! Uprated.

  • Awesome recipe. It's almost the same as what my mom taught me lol. I just had to look up wontons 'cuz I'm addicted to them. I also like meat, so I put a little more than usual, but not too much so it doesn't become a mess while making.

  • Do you know the difference between yellow skin wonton and white skin wonton? I know the yellow one is Hong Kong style and white one is ShangHai style. Which one is better?

  • @lauls85 Hey! thank you so much for your question. I'm actually not very knowledgeable about the skins. I've tasted both, yellow and white and they actually taste exactly the same to me, when it comes to wonton skins, the thinner the skin the better. also if you were to ever make ur own skins from scratch, they're going to have a white hue instead of yellow. im not sure if that helps at all!!

  • @piyopiyoQ Thank you for your replying. I never make the skin myself, especially wonton skin. My mom makes dumpling skin from scratch, it tastes better than the prepared one that you got in supermarkets. By the way, your home looks really nice and clean.

  • @BillKaulitzlover14 I'm not sure!! That's a great question, can i get back to you? I know you can DEF boil it in water and deep fry and orrr pan fry it but ive never steamed them...

  • @BillKaulitzlover14 hey checked w/ my mom haha. she said u could since the skin is so thin it'll get cooked but she doesnt recommend it since 1. it's a hassle and 2. it won't taste as good. hope this helps!!
