Not enough credit is not given to the referee for stepping in and stopping the fight right when he did, because two more shots and hatton could have been hurt really bad.. he had just caught a bad left hook and was not protecting himself probably - so it's good to see the ref was on top of what was going on, because as soon as he grabbed mayweather you saw hatton fall to the floor... so Amazing job by the referee..
Sadly sometimes a referee will wait and this can lead to really bad outcomes..

He is at the top of both categories. This means that Floyd is extremely accurate, and doesn't get hit. He relies on his speed to RUN (I should say DART) in and throw a bunch of punches, then jump (like a rabbit) to another position, to do the same, not minding his defense. Floyd's footwork is excellent, and he DOESN'T need to be stationary to land punches. He does that when he tries to tire out his opponents, or when he feels he can stand with them in the pocket. Great footwork, and NOT being OFF balance. 2nd Floyd shoulder rolls when he WANTS to be stationary, when he's trying to tire out an opponent, or he's ready to trade with him. If he's not ready to trade, then he's going to dance around the ring, like he did with Hatton. So this point is moot.

Yeah, I don't believe that story put out about the First Castillos fight. However, I've watched that fight 5 times, and it seemed to me that he was just playing with him in the beginning cause he thought it would be a walk in the park. Not enough credit is not given to the referee for stepping in and stopping the fight right when he did, because two more shots and hatton could have been hurt really bad.. he had just caught a bad left hook and was not protecting himself probably - so it's good to see the ref was on top of what was going on, because as soon as he grabbed mayweather you saw hatton fall to the floor... so Amazing job by the referee..

In fact, in his last two fights, according to CompuBox, Floyd's ratio of punches landed to thrown is 46%, and punches connected on him to punches thrown is only 16%. He is at the top of both categories. This means that Floyd is extremely accurate, and doesn't get hit. You just undermined your own point. If you leave yourself off-balance, then your footwork is NOT good. What makes a pro wide receiver able to catch those passes on the sidelines with both feet. Getting off balance is mainly him trying to get on the defensive after his attacks. His short reach is why he has to dart in and out. If floyd wants to be stationary and shoulder roll that fine. You're basing this statement on his fights with STATIONARY opponents. Hell, I have amazing footwork if you just stand there, wanting to trade with me! It didn't help him with Marquez, and it WON'T help him with Floyd. And his darting in and out will get him knocked out by Floyd since Floyd whose just as quick, and with better reflexes than Pac, will catch him coming in. This is why I said it will be a knockout for Floyd. Now if Pac just attacked relentlessly, he has a chance.

If he's so elusive, why is he being HIT at a higher rate than Floyd? In fact, he's not even in the top 7 of those who are NOT being hit. You're just blowing smoke. I've got the facts. He's quick, but he still gets hit. THAT means he's not "elusive". Secondly, I think as Floyd has moved up, he has gained power. He's not the same fighter (in terms of quickness) as he was when he fought Gatti, however, he's got more power. Third, Pac's been knocked out before, so it can happen again.

A fighter who masters the art of defense will obviously not get hit, his poor KO% shows that. (part two of Pac's defense) - Gatti is an apropos example since he too was unable to slip punches, which is pac's problem as CompuBox demonstrates. So he can be hit, and not only that, he'll face the most accurate puncher according to CompuBox. Hence, Pac's speed doesn't seem to help him. Wait, I know you didn't mention Castillo!! Personally I think Floyd LOST the first fight. However, he'd broken two ribs while training and went ahead with the fight. The 2nd one he proved his worth

@Nonpeon gatti was never fast though. The buildup to the fight was that gatti said, "im gonna hit him on the shoulders, on the gloves, anywhere to hurt him". He was gonna use his power to neutralize speed and slow floyd down. It didnt work. I mentioned castillo because castillo used CONSTANT pressue and body shots to wear him down. yes he prob suffered broken ribs AFTER the fight, dont know about before. I dont believe it. Yes i also believe he lost that fight. Its really 41-1 to me.

yes, I've watched video of this from several sources, and the claim (don't know if it was true) that he'd had 2 broken ribs BEFORE the fight. Personally, I don't believe it, and I think he took Castillos too lightly. He was more serious in the second fight, and clearly won. Believe me, he WON'T take Pac lightly. Yeah, I don't believe that story put out about the First Castillos fight. However, I've watched that fight 5 times, and it seemed to me that he was just playing with him in the beginning cause he thought it would be a walk in the park. In the later rounds, when Castillos didn't go away, and was hitting him to the body, he got a more serious look on his face, and actually tried to use a fight plan, but by then it, in my opinion, was too late. I agree with everything, except the SKILLS part. Pac's only skill is his relentless attack. If you attack, then he attacks with more punches, but he's incapable of slipping punches, and he throws of punches, which can be slipped. That's how Marquez beat (but was not awarded the fight) him. In fact, when asked why he was having such a problem with Marquez, Pac said he's a counterpuncher. Well, if he had such a problem with a slower, and less elusive, and less accurate puncher (cont.)

Would you say hopkins is not a good figher because he ducks his head DOWN when he throws his punches? No. Would you say tyson's style wasnt good because of his peekaboo style? I think Floyd will make him throw a lot of punches, go to Pac's body (cause no one ever does that to him), and get him a bit winded. Then, he will attack him (shoulder roll, etc...) in the later rounds. This is what he always does to heavy punchers. Secondly, Pac won't throw that many punches once he gets countered over his jab a few times, which Floyd always does. He will be reluctant, as he was in the Marquez fight. But ever more here. You eat a few punches, then you get reluctant

And i still believe may's defense, while amazing, isnt just what people think its gonna be in the fight, a landslide victory like he did with marquez. Hes going to HAVE to fight this time. this is not a walk in the park for him. This fight will bring out the very best in both fighters and whoever wins, then they will be considered the best.

Funny, he claims that it will be an easier fight than the Marquez fight. I tend to agree. Marquez has much better defense than Pacroid. This will be easy pickens for Floyd. You're wowed by athleticism, and I'm wowed by boxing skills. Floyd has both, and Pac has only one. Two skills are better than one. LOL! I don't think it will be that tough for Floyd, personally.

Dumb question: To eliminate the possibility that he is using PEDs. If he is, in fact, using, then who knows if he won't UP-The-Ante, so to speak, to prepare for the Mayweather fight, hence giving him an unfair advantage.
