Almost every country now has their own version of American Idol which led to the discovery of local talents landing recording contracts. It's good for Asia in general to have these types of competition to bring out the hidden talents from the grassroots and motivate the youth to hone their vocal skills. I'm sure the Lion State will eventually spawn world-class performers if the momentum is maintained.

I've followed Charice since LBS days. I knew from then that SHE is that good. I was even recording portions of that show then. The same thing I did when she joined the 10 City Tour with DFF. And this VIDEO CLIP cannot escape MY FAVORITES. I can feel for the Singaporeans cuz they are so proud that an Asian is well received in AMERICA. She has a voice that can literally blow the roof of Madison Square Garden!!!!! and that came from Celine Dion when they sang a duet. Well, I would say now that she can blow the roof off any venue everytime she sings.
