Carol Williams is a marvelous organist. I find the Walt Disney Concert Hall organ a magnificent, but unusually designed and built organ. something typical of what Disney would have in his cartoons or design himself, being that the pipes look like a bunch
of Lincoln logs that were dumped out of the box, in a jumble. The console design is very modernistic and contemporary.
Lovely! Interesting piece. And an interesting instrument as well. Never heard it before apart from a few brief, and less flattering clips here on Youtube. Actually sounded a lot better that I beleived. The facade looks a bit like an accident at a lumber yard, but I have to admit that it is quite unique.
I don't know what it is, but somehow seeing a beautiful woman controlling a beat like that with such a style is just beautiful. The way your back moves when you play is just so lively. I love organ music so much, too bad I am just a ex-percussionist and now a French horn player. I got myself a electric piano with organ sound bank (With which I play all sort of stuff, very much fun, now I need to find myself organ pedals to it and it would be GRAND!)
Hi Carol! A really fascinating number! I like the way it goes from one concept to another! Also, thanks, I looked up the Frisian Period, and read a little about it, not having been familiar with it. So, you have given me a history lesson in addition to a wonderful musical experience, as always! Thank you! Mike
