  • whats the price of that bass?

  • I'll take a Made in Mexico if it knocks the price down a few hundred dollars.

  • I wonder what he's playing through? I would love to have that kinda tone...

  • @kingofthestoneage5 I've played thru Fender Sunn Ampeg Hartke Peavy Acoustic etc and custom rigs About the only thing I've never played a bass thru is Carvin Vox and Mesa Boogie. Acoustics are great4 jazz Ampegs+OLD Sunn Model Ts4rock You can shape your tone from most any amp with EQ, the type of bass, even the type of strings you use. I play a vintage P bass thru an old Peavy now and it's sufficient for what I do currently. I would say best over all amp would be AmpegSVT

  • @4to88strings I had a SVT with a 6x10 sounded good but heavy and distorted quick. I use a first gen Ashdown EVO 500 with 2 Ashdown 4x10s. The amp destroys an SVT and if I want the dirt that's what a big muff is for. Now cab wise the Ampeg 6x10 is one of the best sounding cabs I've ever heard...

  • @kingofthestoneage5 In my rock touring days I used Sunn Model T with 2 Sunn 215s cabs usually split on either side of the drum rise. I love the lowend of 15s, and I'd just use 1 in a small venue. I also had an Acoustic 371 for a while with a single 18 rev fold that was unbelievable. I play at home thru Peavy and an Ampeg

with 4 or 8 10's when/if I gig or rehearse. I've heard a lot about Ashdown maybe I'll get to play 1 some day. Paul Mac's Mesa Boogie rig sure sounds good 2.

  • Holy butt burp, I've never heard a p/j that sounds that growly!

  • made in Mexico

  • Great playing.

  • is american fender or mexican ?

  • @SUFFOCATIONANAL american

  • @SUFFOCATIONANAL look at the fucking american flag sticker on it.

  • America rules, so get used to it pal. USA, USA, USA...!!!

  • @SUFFOCATIONANAL american

  • hochglanzlakierte hälse sind arschgeil :D

  • i agree when he said it's versatile., it's not just for one style, man., just learn how to adjust the settings for it.

  • Sorry Man I think you suk! Maybe a Jazz Bass would suit your playing style better.

I get a real angry tone out my Tony Franklin..... its made to rock!!

  • Interesting bass,I think is one of most versatile precision from Fender.Isn't it?

  • @DarkThoot yes this is versatile because of p j pickups, the toggle switch is also awesome !!!

  • damn the quality of the sound is so bad, that all the basses from your vids sound exactly the same -.-

  • i just bought one of theese, and it is fuckin beautiful !!!

  • how do you get so much sustain?

  • that's the Jazz bass not the precision

  • @pettinhouse No it is the p bass with pj pickups. j pickup at the bridge.

  • @bassistdc

right! Sorry I didn't see the two Pbass pickups

  • @pettinhouse no lol. it isnt

  • ähem, dem Herrn Franklin würde man also keinen Rockbass zutrauen ? :)

  • Comment removed

  • sehr schöner und geil klingender Bass! =)

    danke nochmal!

ABER: der ist doch aus Erle, nich aus Esche?! ;-)

  • ah the tone is immence! i love it

  • hui, das griffbrett is schick :)
