I went on this twice for my second ride it broke down at first the staff could not get it to work. But then they got it fixed and we were away flying up spinning round.

The first time i went on this my shoe fell off and landed somewhere, i never got it back, so the second and last time i went on it i took them off then the ride blew one into a hole by the ride and a weirdo man had to get it for me. maelstrom was the first ride i went on when i last went, the 2nd to last and also the last. it is an epic ride and i went wiv my 2 brothers, 1 said it made him need a wee, and the other said when it was swinging, he thought: yeh, this is really good ride, but then it started spinning and it made him feel sick... lol i was the only one who liked it

The Maelstrom is brilliant! I didn't think much of Drayton Mannor because it's not as big and the rides aren't as good as they are at Alton Towers. If you do go to Drayton Mannor, Maelstrom is a ride to go on :-)
