I worked for John Reuben at a show once. You're actually right...he was watching the football game in the green room and my friend and i came in to talk to him, and we were basically shunned. (I was working merch, I needed to talk to him or someone from his crew to get prices on their stuff)

I was kinda pissed off that every time i tried to talk to him, i just wasn't spoken to. Later his bassist (who graciously gave me the prices with no trouble) said something along the lines of, "Yeah..."

Which basically let me know that even though i was on staff he couldn't be bothered to give me the information i NEEDED to work for him. He talks and talks and talks during his set and eventually my friend and i were shouting, "GET ON WITH IT, REUBEN!"
