RIP Robert Sherman. Thank you for all the beautiful songs that filled my childhood with music. You didn't write children's songs. You wrote songs for that pure spot within everyone's soul, songs that became a part of our lives. And songs like this, that inspired us to believe in the beauty and the hope of the future. ♥ Your memory and your music will live on.
RIP Robert Sherman! You're music will always be loved and honored. Thank you for bringing magic in music to us, not only in the movies, but at Disneyland too!
Robert B. Sherman, one of the men who wrote this, passed away yesterday. I love this song. Have so many great memories connected with it. I've actually gotten really emotional thinking about his death. He's a true ledgent!
@mjhart123 When I went to Disney this was the last ride I went and they were going to close the park when we just got off! So it was really relaxing! :)
This music makes me feel sleepy because whenever I go on this ride it is always late at night after I have been walking all day throughout the park. Time for me to go to sleep!!
What ruined tomorrow is the *Green Movement* that wants to kill off jobs and security for a supposed better world. Better to them maybe but hell to the rest of us that needs jobs and the fact we are only a tiny fraction on the earth.
I love this song it was written by the Sherman Brothers. They also wrote "The Tiki Tiki Room" and "It's a small world (after all)" for Disneyland. these boys also written songs for disney films like "Mary Poppins", "Jungle Book", "Bedknobs and Broomsticks", "The Parent Trap", "The Sword in the Stone", The Happiest Millionare, "Winnie the Pooh" and many others.

Wish we could go back to those days when technology was new and exciting instead of overwhelming.

The Carousel of Progress premiered at the New York Worlds Fair in the 60's then Wal saw and t loved it and he moved it to disney!
BobsFriendGary 4 months ago
@BobsFriendGary Eh no. Disney and his engineers made it for the fair then moved it to Disneyland and then Florida.
Costerguy1234556 3 months ago
@BobsFriendGary Actually, Walt designed it for the '64 World's Fair, then moved it.
