  • Hahaha hij neemt het hoofdstel mee XD

  • That must of really hurt. I fell off into a jump and it hurt,, but again the jump essential near that big

  • OMG

    What the FUCK ........

  • That bridles chin strap must have been getting loose or the guy should not have been holdin them when he fell he should gve let go

  • omg sooo crazy he fell off so hard he took off his horses bridle

  • poor guy my horse dose that all the time at shows cheeky thoroughbreds

  • Horse: Ouch...oops!! ;o

  • Wow, they got the briddle off! Wow

  • thats horse riding for you, it can't all be clear rounds and school masters. it takes courage to ride a horse but dedication to get back on when you have fallen. i have been riding for about 9 years and have fallen quite a few times and it just makes you improve when you get back up.

  • that horse just flew over those jumps...he loves to jump

  • first time i ever seen the Bridle come off @ a fall!

  • Shut the fuck up everyone you know nothing on how the horse was acting so stop trying to fucking trying to tell why he ia a very talented rider and the horse is very talented it was both of them sure he could have come in a little stranger but the horse still could have made it pulling that briddel would not have hurt him they all break with enough force so stop trying to be smarty pants and shut the hell up

  • @LLadyluluu I was just about to say that. :) Doesn't look quite right.

  • I feel very sorry for the person who put this topic. I do not see the fun of it of falling of the horse. It is not funny. Alot of people try to do there sport as an amateur, semi professional or professional. They all have on thing in common" they do not fall on purpose of the horse because you can also dy when you fall on a wrong way. I hope for the topic starter that she will never fall like Chistopher Reeve who get paralyst or Courtney King. This is not funny so yes, you need help.

  • yep thats how you do it always the head first!but the other jumping is nice=)

  • I feel bad but i think it funny how the briddle came off.

  • well....u could see that coming :)

  • I don't know why, but the horse looks very... long ^^

  • Luv that horse

  • the one he looked like he saw was WAY to long.. if the horse were to take off at that jump, the horse it self could have gotten hurt, so thank god the horse stopped.

  • he desearved that he didnt help the horse into the fences for any of the course !

  • how did the bridal come off

  • @iluvmywb it was the riders fault but that doesnt mean he did anything wrong , when you fall your meant to hold onto the reins and he did but the horse threw up its head and it came off :)

  • @hanaxcb o ok

  • i love albert zoer, hes such a talented brilliant rider. whenever i see him at olympia i give him a massive cheer. its always a brilliant sight to watch him riding.

  • I had to lol so freaking hard at all the comments about holding the reins...people this is Albert Zoer: this guy has won international prizes...which btw proves all the more that when you fall you dont have time to think and even proffs hold on some times...anyways: this guy jumps at a lvl that prob all of you only can dream about...you dont need to tell this guy how to ride...good for you you read a book about riding but now go to the real deal

  • wow i've never seen the bridle come off on a fall!

  • Seriously, about holding the reins, get a grip. If the rider was perfect, he would never have fallen. He made a mistake to start with, give him a break. Anyway you instinct is to hold on if you start to fall, you don't have the time to think "Is this a situation where I hold on or let go of the reins?" Of anything, if you have anytime to think, you'll think "Oh fuck, I'm falling!" There are many different arguments, but there aree much worse abuse, let people choose for themselves.

  • you spelt bye wrong. LAWL.

  • Personally when I'm sailing through the air like a blimp, waiting for the ground to impact with my face, I don't really have the time to think about weither or not I should hold onto the reins.

  • Pretty sure that the way he twists when he falls of causes the rains to twist around his hands, and the bit only would have hurt the horses mouth if it was being pulled upwards - which it was not. the strap over the poll slipped over his ears and the bit would have come straight out of his mouth, i doubt at any point the bit would have been hurting his front teeth because the bit sits in a wide gap in the jaw where there are no teeth

  • Le pauvre pourtant c'était bien parti :') !

  • That poor old man:( ... actually if he's tough enough to be jumping 5 ft he should be tough enough to take a small dive! thumbs up if you agree!

  • kk im sorry but thats pathetic cuz ive fallen off a horse like that and ur supposed to let go not rip the whole bridle out of its mouth u risk a higher chance of injuring it cuz if u actually damage its mouth it wont eat so potentially staving it id rather have a horse with a pulled tendon than a horse that wont eat cuz i riped its bridle out of its mouth ...

  • @twilightaddict1414 Ok, yeah right, sure... whatever you say... :L :L :L

  • WOW! your brilliant at riding and lolol your reins came of with ya:')

And guys seriously get over it he held onto the reins wooptey doo!

  • A perfect example of rider error, the angle was too sharp on approach. Such a shame, he was going well before that. People need to remember that even the best riders make mistakes. That course looks very tricky, the jumps would come up fast.

  • NEVER keep pulling the reins while fallng of, you could seriously hurt the horse

  • @gwenplane1987 what would hurt the horse more is if you let it go run loose around the arena!

  • @breyeroats without it being pulled in it's mouth

  • that was such an unfortunat fall, you were doing so well, how big were those jumps???

  • @missmaddiemare like 6ft

  • lol

  • Alanis <3

  • damn, pulled the bridle off and everything...

  • he makes it all look so easy... even if he fell

  • whAT MAKES YOU A GREAT RIDER IS THAT YOU FALL OFF ALOT THAT HOW YOU LEARN TO RIDE FROM MISTAKES

  • Ive just started jumping with my pony after a bad fall and we are only jumping 30cms i couldn't imagine facing up to that!!!!

  • @AliDiana123 you don't have to fall off a lot to be a great rider but i agree with the istakes part

  • @equine247 mistakes*

  • the bridle is supposed to come off!if not he would have hurt the horse.

  • OMG HE PULLED THE BRIDLE OFF! I feel sorry for the horse :O (And the rider :P)

  • Comment removed

  • wow.... he pulled the martin gail off as well as the bridle.... ouchy.

  • ha the horse was like well goodbye then lol

  • YOu see the best riders fall!

  • the 3rd point of veiw made me see that, he was putting his horse at A REALLY BAD ANGLE and the horse couldnt jump it ha

  • for the most part he looks like a quiet rider and that fall was pretty unexpected..partly the horse and partly the rider.

  • lol cant make a dick out of myself..dont have one and never will..that was hilarious as a comment...and it wasnt stuck up it was a response to another comment made....and no not everyone knows grand prix riders....so get over yourself

  • weet iemand of dit met okidoki of met samurai was ?

  • shit happens

  • yes i have...and also been to grand prix events to watch friends compete..who were younger and much better then this...i also evented...i have since switched to dressage as my horse is excelling in that before jumping him as he is young

  • @luv4cascy Oh Miss Stuck Up Your Own Ass Here Haha.. Iv Jump 1.60 And My Horse Is Excelling In Dressage.. So Fuck If You Know Grand Prix Riders Everyone Does.. So Stop Maken A Dick Out Of Yourself Ur A Stuck Up Cunt...

  • He needs to work on his falling off position obviously...its just not good enough!! (piss take of everyone's comments about his fall)

  • some people have bridles that will snap in cases like this.

  • i luv that horse

  • how in the WORLD did the horses bridle come off

  • wow the bridle came off must have heart

  • Stop being jerks to all of you who are judging him, EVERYONE falls off and he's a pro and I bet a lot of YOU aren't so back off!

And I don't think he pulled his horse face on purpose. No person with a heart would do that on purpose. Personally I respect any rider who jumps those jumps that high.

  • i do jump...lol

  • @luv4cascy Have you jumped 1.60m in a course? :P

  • he looked like he was gonna fall after almost every jump...cute horse though

  • @luv4cascy if you ride horses , proessionaly you will should know that , it isnt easy to sit jumps that big perfectly , you try jumping one that high, with all there nervs ov the people whatching y. its not easy .lol

  • He was doing really well before that, to bad of that fall.. I'm sure it hurt his horse, but you can't help that when you're flying upside-down.

  • Who sing the song in this video??

  • HE PULLED THE BRIDLE OFF !!

  • @Ilovemypony99 it does happen!

  • @devildimpton i know (happened to me) but seriously...

  • @Ilovemypony99 i know lol

  • Er muss sich nach dem Spring erstmal wieder richtig in den Sattel setzen .!!

  • zzonde want vooprd erest ging het echt nertjes vond ik

  • Hahaha this look very funny! :D

  • jecht jmmr.....

  • Woo zo zonde.

    HEt ging zo goed!

    Haha, at hoofdstel:P

  • aaah zielig voor albert

  • He didn't seem to be holding on tight to the reins. He was sitting back to slow down the horse with his seat, then I think he overcompensated leaning too far back with getting ahead too soon. By getting ahead of the horse it threw the horse off and that's why I think he refused.

All in all, good riding and a beautiful horse; the jumps were stunning.

  • that is Okidoki and Albert Zoer

  • @amberLDuke

Dat is Okidoki niet toch? Die heeft een hele andere galop.

  • het is okidoki voor zijn blessure toen had hij wel zo'n galop ;)

  • OMG that horse is an amazing jumper. That fall must have sucked lol.

  • he seems to be rushing a lot1 maybe they were cutting the time too close or something. but you could see as he hit those last few jumps both him and the horse were sort of everywhere.

  • OMG!

    Not OKidoki toch?

  • He is a amazing rider.

  • lol that was funy, but i hate when people just grip onto their reins for life, it hurts the horse, never happened to me, but i have fallen off the way he did :D lol

  • Whoa, she took the bridle with her! Glad they were ok! XD

  • Good thing the bridle came off amd the horse wasnt runnin around w his reins dangling

  • The was a fall alot like that this in 2009 juniors, where he took the corner to sharp heading away from the gates and landed on his back on the jump (not same guy)

  • i love the way that at 1:02 he is mored bothered about his jacket being clean than the loose horse!!

  • hahah the bridle fell off. :D

  • haha the bridle and stuff acme off

  • I'm guessing none of you critics and experts are as good a rider as this guy. I'm also guessing that none of you have ridden at that level. So STFU!

  • OUCH, that sucks! Rider didn't plan ahead enough, took the jump at too much of an angle for the horse to feel comfortable jumping. It happens!

And everybody relax, horse was clearly fine. The bridle wasn't "ripped" out of the horse's mouth, it came off over his head a bit when the rider came off and the horse opened his mouth! And when you're falling, you're really not thinking about whether or not you're holding the reins; total reflex to try and hold on.

  • Uuh böser sturz tat garantiert richtig weh kenn ich selber wenn man dann auf einmal kopfüber im Oxer sitzt xDD

  • Haa.. my BF is called Tristan :P I LOVE THIS HORSE (not cos of its name) lol x

  • got nwt to do with any of this video

  • holy crap the stirrup AND bridle came off...that was impressive

  • seriously people just chill okay!!?? I'm sure he didn't enjoy doing that either. It's not just the horse that was "hurt" here. seriously the guy fell right into a jump, those things are heavy and solid wood and he was going pretty fast too so he hit that thing bloody hard and that bridle cam off sooo easily that the horse probably was not hurt at all. even if he was a bit hurt then he kinda deserved it because he was the one that refused!

  • hope youre ok!!!!

  • wow i cant believe that whole bridle pulled off!

  • guys... calm down. yeah, that fall hurt the horses' mouth, but when you're falling like that off a horse, you tense up and don't think about anything but the ground and how you're going to land. I'm sure he doesn't enjoy pulling his horses' face off, just relax.

  • @kaymm93 yeah but it still hurts.

  • the horse was taking really tight turnes. I coud see comming. he was gonna jump it but it would have been to deep he would prob knocked the whole thing over if he did.

  • OMG I love Alanis Morissette, too!! Great that you picked that music :D Cool clip, looks painful for the horse to have the bit ripped out of his mouth, though...

  • wow.and the bridle came right off 2!

  • oj jävlar han fick me sig tränset:O

  • but you have to rember you are not really thinking about letting go.the next time in 'there' is when im thinking about what just happend. :) soooo it wasnt the guys falt.:)

  • ouch poor horse when the bridle was ripped out. Hes a really good rider and sits cool. Love the horse

  • poor thing!! that horse look soo good jumping if the guy would have just let go of the reighns >:( he realy coul dhave hert him!!thats alot of force to yank the WHOLE entire Bridle off and the bit coul dhave done some seriouse tooth dammage

  • stop criticizing him, he was in the fkn olmpics.

  • i wasnt "criticizing" him idiot my main concern was the horse if you had common sence you could have peiced that one together

  • no need for harsh language, he knows how to care for his horse- like i said- he was in the Olympics.

  • Oh give me a break . . . so he was in the Olympics, just means he's more goal driven and that makes some people do everything and anything to win . . . without the horses best interest in mind. It's all about winning.

  • maybe in some cases that is true, but not all Olympic riders will do anything to win. My trainer personally knows and Olympic rider who rescued a horse from the kill pen and re trained it and brought it to the Olympics. Never under estimate people, some people really do it for the pride, of both HORSE AND RIDER.

  • he obviously didn't mean any harm to the horse, it was an accident.

  • i know that nor did I say he did it on purpose.

  • well the poor guy, you can't yell at someone and tell them there hurting there horse is they OBVIOUSLY didnt mean it.

  • I SAID I KNOW THAT !! was talking about the horse for get about that guy! as i said before comon sence is needed!

When i said 'if that guy would have just let go of the reighns >:(" its becuase he was hangging on to them even over the jump i WAS NOT blamming the dude more or less wished he would have done that! get it now??

  • I agree with you, no worries. generally, people try NOT to break their horse's jaw. just sayin'.

JooliaxMoolia- just because he was in the olympics doesn't make him right every time.

  • Comment removed

  • easy killer. in my state you're told to let go of the reins.

  • i agree thats y i didnt believe he held onto them for so long my trainner said always hold the reigns because if you fall the horse wont run and im like what if he rears up and smashes my face to bits? then what? she was like then get up and dust your self off haha1 I got a new o trainner after that haha

  • Your exactly right . . . amazes me that people can't see how harmful that incident could be to the horse. Uggghh. . . some people just don't get it and the animals suffer.

  • *nods* I love and respect my horses anyone saying other wise even if not derectly to me but my horse is not a good thing to come between me and my horses they arent just some "THING" I can control with a bit its a partner and a great loving compannion! I just dont get thoes people who could care less about animals in general(not to mention them getting hert) atleast we arent missing out on a part of life that is special in its own way thats for sure!!

  • lol

  • oh yeah forgot to say that this was a very nice ride up to the fall:)

  • honest mistake

  • ouch!!! But Shit happens!

  • lol, i know a pony named tristan, but hes a little dapples gray pony, but he would do that :), but man i would kill to get to jump a horse like that

  • I don't understand why people hold on to the reins after they fall off. my trainers would have kicked my ass.

  • because they're trying to keep the horse from running away and being loose.

  • sorry. I'd rather have my horse be loose than having my 145 pounds yanking on his mouth. MY bad. besides, my horse doesn't run away when I fall off. she trots off a little bit then comes back to me.

  • when my sister had her lesson someone fell off with the bridle LOL the person fell at the same line twice but the bridle fell off only the first time. she is fine she was laghing

  • When the people get hurt I have no problem watcing, but when the animals get hurt I hate to watch. I think it's because the animals are forced to compete whether they like it or not and the human, well it's his choice.

  • yeah, cuz horse's are mindless animals and go around doing it even if they reaaaaaaaally don't want to. oh wait... not.

  • Compare it to when horses would run into battle/war. guns, spears, chaos . . . but they do what they are told to do or programmed to do. I don't believe a horse "wants" to get hurt.

  • "programmed?" yeah right. and i hardly see similiarities to war and show jumping. and anyways, in both cases, if the horse decides it doesn't want to do it anyymore, it doesn't. it stops at jumps, runs away from the war, etc. horses try to please their riders, just like friends try to keep their friends happy. there's nothing mindless or "programmed" about it.

  • I hope your not defending the fact that it's okay or entertaining if horses get hurt in competition. Horses are pattern animals, and they do things for their owners to "get along" a.k.a. avoid punishment. So in that regard they are "programmed".

  • I have to disagree with you to some extent. Many horses do things because they LOVE to do them. A horse that doesn't love to jump won't make it to this level of the competition. They are just as passionate, if not more passionate, than their riders.

  • no, they're not programmed OR mindless. they're animals. and besides, not all horses "get along" to avoid punishment. my horse just kicked me the other day. and you know what happened? she got punished. so in THAT regard, you're wrong.

  • ouch lol - the bridal fell off... how?

  • Nice round! until the bridle came off... but hey shit does hapen!

  • aw imagine how he must feel :(

  • lol the whole bridle came off

  • I find it interesting how a lot of english falls I have seen, the riders hold onto the reins over the horse's head when many western falls, the rider just lets go of the reins and they stay over the horse's neck. It is so strange.

  • probably because they have the horn to hang onto in western, and in english, there is nothing but mane really : / thats my only guess.... I ride both, so idk... xD

  • For most people (and I'm not generalizing western from english) whenever you're riding every part of your body is telling you to NOT to let go of that rein. Plus after a fall like this I would imagine it was hard to be thinking clear.

  • i agree. people dont specifically think that they need to let go of the reins, its more of an OMG this is gonna hurt kinda thing:) it happens to fast! im not saying that you should hold on to the reins, because it could injure the horse, but its hard to remember to let go:)

  • Yeah, it does happen fast and shit happens. So what if the horse gets pulled a bit on the mouth? It could have been a hell of a lot worse! Glad to see someone who knows what they are talking about - hehe.

  • this happened when i was lungein my tb i lunged him over a jump he refused and his bridle cum straight of but he didnt have a throatlatch but i thought it wuld of bin alright cuz he never bad or anythin but it was one of them days .. but i wuld of thought the rider in the vedio wuld of known better to tighten the throatlatch instead of leavin it baggy and then the bridle wuldnt of cum off:)

  • I think it was she really pulled maybe a stride before the jump, and they were crooked, so therefore, that horse wasn't going over that jump

  • wow they looked fab until... honestly i think it just surprised the horse cuzz they came in a little crooked... oh well they messed up "gracefully" and we all have our days!:)

  • took off the whole Bit and everything lol the poor dear was like that the...?

  • dang his bridle slipped rite off lol

  • so you wouldn't mind if i used this clip if I send you the link to the video?

  • horse needed a slightly straighter line into the jump x

  • It's a jump off. You show us a rider that has a straight line to a fence in a jump off, and I'll point out it's someone that didn't get placed. Watch videos of Glenwood Springs with Tim Stockdale-he puts Woody (Glenwood Springs) to the jumps on take off stride on an angle, and that little horse still clears it!

  • HAHAH OHNE TRENSE :D

Das Pferd holt aber schön weit aus ne :)

  • Ouch! well... i guess that's what helmets are for! haha :D but maybe a tighter throatlatch for next time???

  • that is such an amazing horse makes it look so easy , ! but we all have our days i gues! x

  • Stop having bad comments about Alberts riding, He is one of the top riders in the world! All of you having bad comments are probably worst riders than Albert. This guy is always very honest with his horses, thts why he is winning so mutch with different horses, becouse they like to work for him. At this video he just had a miscommunication with his horse, normally the horse should have jumped.

  • Thank you someone with a sensible comment. Just shows how much they all know about show jumping when they don't know who Albert Zoer is!!!

  • What a good comment. If Albert Zoer(?) wouldn't be a good rider he wouldn't manage these jumping classes. He is a very talented rider and even the best can have bad days, make misstakes and have miss calculations. So? It happens and Schoentje7 I agree with you. I really do:D.
