really really like his work. Obviously he does not like conservative values (based on his election 2000 comment) but I don't really see how his work is saving the planet other than he is using salvaged parts. Believe it or not...conservatives are actually environmentally conscious as well. Anyway, he is truly a talented and God gifted artist.  To God be the glory!

Interesting guy. Some of those assemblanges, especially the ones made of sheet metal from cars, were really beautiful and evocative. The color schemes used by car companies seem to follow a fashion trend of sorts, so there was this subtle historical sense to those art works that I could not quite put my finger on but still found satisfying, as if many parts of my life were being stimulated by vague memories. A nice sensation.
