The UNION is the reason why almost all the manufacturing in the United States has moved to Mexico, South America, and China! Trust me, I know what I am talking about; because I was raised on a Textile Mill Village and worked in Textiles from age 16 to 25. Almost all the textile companies in my home county (Gaston County, Gastonia, NC) have closed their doors. Thank God I have a college degree and was able to get out of the mill.

Thanks to the working conditions of the cotton mills, I lost my grandmother some 30 years ago to brown lung disease when the companies (?), CDC, OSHA, etc... supposedly didn't know the cotton dust caused brown lung disease. Grams spent her life working in the mill, working a farm, and making pottery to feed, cloth, and care for her family. It is time to bring back the essence of Norma Rae. All one has to do is walk into any WalMart - enough said...

First all the jobs that would have been lost if the companies went bankrupt for NOT outsourcing their jobs to a 3rd world country have been saved which ofcourse would have far exceeded the relativly few low paid jobs that were lost.
