I started a small company from buying boric acid from the dollar store. Then charging 25.00 an hour to my customers.

You can can start your own also, tools you will need.

- 5 - 10 bottles or boric acid $1 EACH

- $5 drill w/ 1/2 inch drill bit

- $4 of wall puddy

- paint will be needed, but not ur problem, hire a painter

- Drill one hole at TOP 2 ft apart from NEXT one and work your way down, with 3ft spacing from top hole.

- Spray tablespoon of boric acid into hole

(7 - 10 years ROACH FREE!)

Cocaine is also effective. Use it the same way you use boric acid. Too bad it's illegal.

I save the little caps from milk bottles as they hide well in corners of cabinets. Just fill em with boric acid and place everywhere you can. You should spread it around baseboards, sweep it in then remove excess, and it's not noticeable . You can also lay it out liberally in drawers and cover with shelf paper or even newspaper. I put it out everywhere possible whenever I move to a new place, then refresh it every 6 mos., just to be sure home is always protected.

Also you dont want to eat this stuff or put it near food or plates but dont be afraid to use it in your house or in your kitchen. People use boric acid in diluted eyewash so the stuff really isnt that harmful in the kind of quantites you might get on you with a light dusting of the stuff around your home. Once you get good at applying the boric acid you wont even leave a noticeable powdery residue. This stuff is a roach killing machine, its magic!

Key to putting down boric acid is to puff it in areas instead of putting thick powder accumulations down Think of it from the roach's perpective a thick accumulation of powder is like a snow drift, rather than climb over it they'll just go around it. If you puff it and theres just a nice even distribution of boric acid they'll crawl through it. Then when they go back to their nest to preen they'll ingest the boric acid and die. The other roaches will eat the carcass and then also die.

or the dollar store but the best thing on the market is combat roach gel as soon as you place it out the bugs don't wait,and plus in the morning the same place you gave the gel thats the same place you find the dead roach, with boric acid the roaches travel or go into hide.but the boric acid works

how do you use boric acid if the cockroachs are living on places where the boric acid cant reach?

You just put it as close to those places as possible, like along the baseboards of the floor, behind the stove & fridge, etc. The container it comes in has a pointy tip so it can usually get into small crevices. Good luck!

You can buy boric acid at any pharmacy. I got a 4 oz bottle for 4.99 no tax. Sold in the pharmacy its main use is treating ailments like cracked hands and feet but can be used for many other applications. I actually use mine to melt gold because it stops oxidation during the melting process.

Home Depot has the good stuff, you can also get it at Family Dollar (if there's one nearby) for around 2 bucks.

Acid, but It might work provided that the "liquid" used doesn't neutralize the acic - but I don't see why it would...

Boric acid works way better as a powder, because its particles will scratch the outside of the roach, making it lose water.

roaches died in coke :) .. hey any brand and place to get would you suggest? is there any particular way like mixing it with stuff, or just sprinkle them in any particular safe place (since i have 2 dogs in my apartment)?

Lol - no I got some at Home Depot then Family dollar - I just put it along the edges, behind furniture, etc. No special mixing required. It's hard to say w/ pets because they go everywhere but maybe stick to putting it behind the stove and fridge and other places that for sure your pets will not go - i belive it can be pretty dangerous for pets. Boric Acid dehydrates them. Chokes them to death. Mixed with flour, cocoa powder, or any other tasting powder is a Roach's nightmare.

Even if not mixed they track it, and sometimes if your home is tidy enough will panic and eat it anyway. Best roach killer around.

I've heard great reviews about the product of Borric Acid.. and had wondered if perhaps it might be a tad exaggerated.. but your video just pawned any doubts of mine..

Sure thing! I'm a tough girl, but the roaches... man they did a number on my psyche. But the scientific curiosity in me overpowered, hence the video : )  Glad to help- roaches suck when they are in your home!

I was told this stuff is good for them. I just bought some today and put some here and there in the back of the cabinets under my sink. I'm hoping that it'll work. The apartment complex supposedly has pest control but its been months and I haven't seen them do crap about it. So hopefully this does something.
