@jamag689 its because after a certain point, the pro players know when they have made a fatal mistake that will cost them the game, and instead of wasting time trying to recover, they just gg and move on to the next game. i know its a late response but... pro games actually never end, they always end in gg's
@NachiMeNachiMe Well let's just say the players here are the best non-Koreans. Idra, Select, Kiwikaki, Ret, Thorzain and others are amazing. Only missing Naniwa to make this an epic tournament, but it already is.

@macedoniarocks they just got 0-4d at gsl, that's right, jinro, thorzain, naniwa, sase, all lost. Only thorzain won a single match, the rest got 2-0d ezpz.
@Yubel0 basically he's right though. if you look at the top talent of sc2 you see Nestea, MC, and MVP. They are the best 3 players SC2 and are ages ahead of most korean SC2 players let alone foreigners. Now consider that these three "elite" were below average at best in Brood War. (keep in mind that the top of SC2 is dominated by Brood War pros.) Then you look at guys like Flash, Stork, Bisu and Jaedong who are EONS ahead of everyone else. Only then can you really see how big the skill gap is.
@Yubel0 GSL is the only legitimate tournament if you are looking at the best players in the world. Foreign players are in the GSL too. But you just can't help but notice that they really don't do too well. Are other tournaments worthwhile? Is a high school basketball league worthwhile? Yes, it is, I guess, to the people in the county/the students in the high school. But if you want to watch real basketball you watch the NBA.
