the fatass handguard exist in real life anyway... i've seen a gsg .22 mp5 with the exact same handguard. does look pretty ugly though, but it will fit say... a crane stock stick type lipo battery up to 7.4v 3000 mah.... for a mp5 with a retractable stock, it's pretty amazing.

It's AEG not SAEG, but if you want a cheaper and reliable gun, then go for AEG, but if your want a realistic blowback and even some recoil.... Go for gas!

On the Half Life High Defenition Pack the SMG is changed into a M4, but since the MP5 and Glock shared the 9x19mm Parabellum ammo, it made the M4 share the 9mm ammo with the Glock, which is awkward.

i think the question of a aeg that souds like a gun is interesting and i understand why u say u want it but u cant have that without a real gun or ur going to hear the sewing machine sound and gun sound all mixed and that would sound uggly and even if u managed to make the sound of a sewing machine dissapear u wouldent be able to higher the rpm nor fps cause then the sound would need to be sped up and also to tune the sound so it is the same rate as the bullets would be werry difficult

That's the point of airsoft, so you can have two op for going against each other with out killing any one. Now you could say, "that's what video games are for." Well some people perfer something more tangible and don't want to sit on a couch for 3 hours straight.

Real steel 3 gun matches? Sure, but you're still only shooting paper targets.

And if the AEG noise really bothers you, GBBRs are the way to go.

Nice gun, maybe a bit hot for CQB, but thats fine. The handguard is horrific, but it is an ICS, which means quality. Looks like ti has a pretty heavy trigger pull, as Tim was "misfiring" (bad word choice?) on the chrono.

I only heard about the ICS split gearbox half a year ago and saw some at a local airsoft convention, almost looks like a friend's Systema PTW.  I'm wondering about longevity, ease of upgrade/downgrade, and reliability before I decide to jump on one. I'm not crazy about that handguard either, stick to the classic look.
