That's 600,000,000,000 dollars. A trillion is a million times a million. We're talking over half a million million. Is that even comprehensible? And for what? Freedom? Who's freedom?
For 600,000,000,000 US$, we could have educated (twenty million) college students at Ivy League tuition prices.
Instead, we killed hundreds of thousands of people, maimed who knows how many more & bombed a nation back to the stone age. As if that wasn't enough, we poisoned Iraq with depleted uranium (half life of 4.5 billion years). And we did this after killed nearly 2 million Iraqis (children) by denying basic food and medication for 13 yrs via trade sanctions.
