  • I was at Canada vs Russia the other night and someone tried telling me it was louder than the 04 finals. It was loud, but it wasn't even close to this. Can't wait til we get another chance at the cup! Go Flames Go!

  • flames fans best fans in the NHL. loudest playoff team ever

  • @zimboi81 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL GOOD ONE. Watch a Montreal game sometime.

  • @PortugalFootballer lol too bad the Canadians are the most hated team in the NHL, the little faggot frenchcanadian crybabies they are.

  • @sasprawler Doesn't mean much comin from a fuckin hick.

  • @PortugalFootballer hahaha actually it does mean much, if they're the most hated NHL team that says something, trust me...it's not just me that hates them. lol shouldn't you be watching gay soccer highlights??? after all soccer is just a bunch of fags faking injuries.

  • @sasprawler lol hater's gonna hate.

  • @PortugalFootballer hahaha nice comeback body, by "haters" i think you're referring to the rest of the NHL :)

  • @zimboi81 flames and jets are the top 2 in canada and probably the nhl.

best american nhl fans?? probably san jose, philly, or minnesota

  • @NessMencesal even though I hate them, I have to admit san jose has great fans. also buffalo and philly are great hockey towns.

  • 1:27 that crowd was REALLY loud

  • @iliketherangersalot2 watch?v=V3qiMkfDJzQ watch the very first goal in the first 10 seconds. now that's a crowd.

  • The Game 6 Gelinas goal was in

  • I was there for that game, I have never been to a Flames loss.

    GO FLAMES GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • still brings a tear to my eye!

  • Puck was over the fu%$in line, far as I'm concerned Flames are the rightful '03 - '04 Stanley Cup Champions. Fu%$ all of yuz.

  • seriously one of the loudest crowds I've ever heard

  • Greatest crowd in the nhl by far just look at the jersey's

  • @GeRI3iL Is called the C of Red

  • This is going to be waaayy off topic considering that this chat blog is mostly full of flames fans. But, I was wondering, considering that Luongo won gold for Canada, does any one think that that will give him inspiration for the playoffs for the Stanley Cup?

  • Gelinas Birthday game 6 was done. And denied.

  • "new nhl" is boring compared to this

  • This is the playoff finals buddy, it makes everything in the world boring compared to it

  • @raptorjaysus The new NHL has been around since Gary Bettman took over in 1993....

  • that second goal was intense

  • hahaha but who won this serous??lol fucken losers

  • Shut up you dont even know how to spell series.

  • Please I want this stuff again!

  • Attending this game will forever be one of my lifes favorite memories! Send chills down my spine

  • My favorite goal horn in the league.

  • i was at the game.. when chris simon scored i had never heard anything so loud in my life

  • Calgary was crazy that year. Unreal how well they played.

  • FLAMES SHOULDVE WON!!

  • 120 DB's not so.. sorry bro. No team is at that, man.

  • at most games, they have a db measure device, and for a few seconds, I saw it at 120. maybe the music helped, but without music, it's around 112-116.

  • The loudest arena is RBC Center in Raleigh.

  • that one or this come close, but im a flames fan so im gonna say this one

  • You really have no idea.

  • Just like the game Flames has won the Cup i know it because the goal was in in game 6

  • Hey im not hating flames.. there crowd is good!. Im just stating the fact Edmonton is the loudest bar far its not a question ask unbiased broadcasters.. and they all say EDMONTON. Its unbelievable come playoff time

  • do they all wear the same color... i think not, playin in a arena named after a drug store and saying there louder then the flames fan who pay an unruly amount just to get a seat, i mean if you and 3 friends wanted lower bowl seats come playoff time your lookin at 2000 bucks or more, in the regular season its no different, oh and we dont show up to lose 10-1 to the sabres

  • HUH?. Anyways look it up. Oil country hit over 114 decibels numerous times. Saddledome is not even close to the noise factor in rexall palce come playoff time. BTW i was there in the sea of red vs CHICAGO!!.. and YES, it was loud, but it snothing compared to rexall or the old WINNIPEG arena. its not even close

  • A group of 7 year olds could make alot of noise in Winnipegs arena, didnt it seat just about 10,100 unlike the flames 21,284, oh and isnt it like 5 times smaller, weird, the ratio there almost spells hey with this many people in a condensed area screaming, we make more noise then those guys in the much larger building even tho they have twice the people, the Edmonton fact you laid out, i will give you that, i cant deny that after looking it up.

  • Hey man im not here to pick part CGY. Flames had a very loud playoff crowd in 2004 cup run(they where the loudest), but its never been the same noise level since that year(if it was they would be at the top with EDM and MTL). Wpg arena had 15,557(youtube wpg jets playoffs check out that atmopshere its like oilers crowd). Cgy hold 19,289. I acutally know my seating charts very well, and im into the whole decibal levels and loudest crowds scenery. 115DB'S is equivlant too a JET taking off.

  • go calgary flames go woohooo gaooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • wow...2004...

    lets do it this year

  • LMAO WTF AHAHAHAH... edmonton smells...

  • no its not

  • where is everybody getting the idea that edmonton is louder than calgary in the playoffs? the oilers weren't even in the playoffs, so rexxal was really quiet. lol, but seriously, calgary is really loud, I've seen it at 120 db.

  • Bro honestly.. Edmonton is the loudest NHL playoff arena, there is no question, google it up. In 2005 cup run, yes CGY was loud, but its not comparable to Edmonton, and I know this by honesty, and reality. I been to CGY last year for the playoffs against Chicago, dude, that is not what you call loudest arena lol.. its louder then most but not the loudest. Bell center in MTL is ten times louder then CGY.

    1-Edm

    2-MTL

Rest its up for grabs. St.louis this year was the loudest in there 2 games.

  • I know that Montreal is the loudest, I think Carolina is up there, but only in the playoffs. Edmonton is loud. Which game did you go to? because game three was way louder than games 4 and 6. I suggest checking out game six against the wings in 2004. quite possibly the loudest game

  • I understand the cup run for CGY was loud, that 04 run and now adays is not the same atmosphere as you guys had. I know game 6 was loud against wings in 04, all your games were very loud in that playoff year. But Edmonton any game you watch and go to in the playoffs is ear damangeing. It's been like that since 1997 in the playoffs. Edmonton is considered the loudest arena, just google it or watch the games, the broadcasters and such say so, along with the players from opposing teams.

  • its only cause of the acoustics of rexall, really small packing a lot of people. its not really much louder

  • yeah, I know we seem to keep quiet during play, not sure what that's about. maybe the crowd thinks the players can concentrate better, I don't know. but goal celebrations have to be louder than rexxal at the dome, simply because there are more people. tell me edmoton's loudest game, I'll watch it.

  • One game watch any of them lol.. Goal celebrations are not louder my friend. Ill simply get facts. brb.

  • whatever. I'm tired of this debate. even if the oilers are louder, nobody can do what we do. that is the c of red. and if anyone can, no one has yet.

  • Remember.. THE WHITEOUT, looool. sorry.

  • we started the trend of teams fans wearing the same colors in 1986. the difference between the "C" of red and let's say washington's "Rock the Red" is that we wear the actual jerseys, they wear t-shirts handed to them at the door.

  • How can the bolts go from being shit to winning a cup to being shit again.

  • Right place at the right time? Very special management skills?

  • well they didnt really win the cup...the flames did in game 6.

  • Uhh...last I checked, the 2004 Lightning won the cup. You know this, yet you continue to spew on and on about how they didn't "really" win the cup.

Smeager, do yourself a favor. Watch the video called "Martin Gelinas Phantom Goal + Analysis" and get back to me.

Better yet, explain how any goal with 6 full minutes remaining would've won Game Six.

Even better yet, please find me some conclusive evidence that proves your assertion.

    Have fun.

  • calm down

  • well saiyajingafuck, go shove your balls in a blender, we won that year, Just cause your fraisers boyfreinds doesnt give you the right to tell Smeags here whats up

  • Nice creative retort...I especially liked the balls in a blender bit. Keep swingin, Flammer, maybe I'll catch a cold.

Fans like you and Smeager just can't cope with reality. It's my hope that the rest of the Flammer fanbase isn't made up of the likes of you - as the 2004 Calgary Flames were a respectable bunch - ones who didn't cry when things didn't go their way.

  • i aint complaining, im laying out the facts, our fanbase is amazing, im pretty used to disapointment, but seein as we just signed one of the most respected and prominent defence man bouwmeester , were not only gonna win the cup this year, were gonna do it with the least GA in the league

  • And that somehow justifies telling me to go shove my balls in a blender?

Guess what, I've laid out the facts as well, without resorting to creative cussing or lame homophobic insults.

Oh yeah, saying "we won that year" is complaining. Keep it up.

  • A 2 goal lead with 6 minutes left with the cup on the line in the old NHL where little goals where scored is pretty much done.

  • Mike, your problem is that you assume too much. Pretty much done, while it may make you feel better, doesn't cut it as far as a win or a loss. Let it go buddy.

  • Yeah, can you upload the rest of the 2004 Cup Final Games, ESPECIALLY Game 7 please?:-D

  • I was there, working the crowd selling beer. It was real loud. What great memories.

  • I was there, working the crowd selling beer. It was real loud. What great memories.

  • by far the loudest in the NHL

  • the flames had that too those lightning basterds

  • We did. Curse the refs for not calling Gelinas' winner.

  • listen to the crowd whe they score!

  • ya the crowed was so nuts that night

i was at that game, best game ive ever seen. these high lights are missing the iginla lecaviller fight.

this and the gold metal 02 game are the best games Iginla has ever played.

The 04 cup run was by far some of the best times of my life! That team over came all odds, with no salary cap. We desereved the Cup that year for sure

  • Can you add game 1, 5, and 6 also 7 please

  • iginla and reger did it all
