@MountDoomPictures Well they get it right on occasion, like Howard Shore's 1st and 3rd LOTR (though they should have never had that 'sequel exemption' rule and give it to the 2nd one as well)

But yeah, they're totally off at times. Like there were at least a dozen times John Williams could have won when clearly he had the superior music. I hate to see his work on War Horse and Tin Tin lose to those same Social Network guys who done Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

My favorite part is when they're falling. I literally scream with joy every time they pull up. This song is pure happiness for me, as is everything HTTYD. @nigahiga68 It's my belief that a movie should only get one "best ---- movie" nomination. For example, if a pixar movie gets nominated for best picture, it can't get a nomination for best animated picture. This would be good because then other movies would be able to have some time in the spotlight. Coraline would have won Best Animated Feature for the 2010 Oscars, and HTTYD would have gotten it for 2011.

@YoMama2143 Well, watching Pixar movies and some others you just mentioned (especially Titanic), I always feel like these WANT to make you cry. How to train your Dragon never did that, and I think that's way more powerful. Just think about what happens at the end... there's no emotional breakdown, Hiccup doesn't shout "Nooo" or something - it's just a silent, yet very sad moment. That's what makes this movie so powerful.
