just put the food in one corner and cover with shreded paper so you wont have smell and flys and other bugs with in the bin . it looks a bit wet . at this point you could harvest the castings and start with a fresh bed.

a good ideal would be to go buy a cheap blender and use just to chop up scraps likes those to add to worm bins. Or even compost bins.
