Actually, if she got the nomination and chose Obama as VP, then it *might* prevent party division. She would have an advantage in the presidential race due to McCain and Obama trashing each other's image. It would definitely screw over McCain's strategy because then he would have to completely recalibrate his focus on a fresh opponent.

What is also part of that Hallmark that so many whites try to forget or discredit is that in the process, many Native Americans were driven out of their territories, and even killed because the White Man believed that they were savages, or sub-human, as they did with Africans. The Native American population still lives with that era in their population - they make up 2% of our pop.

Actually, if she got the nomination and chose Obama as VP, then it *might* prevent party division. She would have an advantage in the presidential race due to McCain and Obama trashing each other's image. What ass kicking? This was the closest Primary in history. Obama did not get enough delegates without the Superdelegates who did not vote along with their districts. You cannot call that an ass kicking and that is why she does deserve her name in nomination, as are the rules of the Democratic Party and the normal thing to do. It is rare for someone not to be put in nomination even if it wasn't so close.

Just as Geraldine's comments were supposedly factual the comments that you mentioned from Reverend Wright are also true. She doesn't know what it's like to be black. Believe it or not, I notice that MSNBC is a bit more on the democratic side. Even though I'm a democrat, I watch independent news networks such as CNN...well, CNN's actually the only one. But if you're going to complain about biased news networks, why don't you just watch an unbiased one? Or better yet, get your news from credible newspapers, or over the internet (Wall Street Journal, New Yorker, Columbus Dispatch, etc.)?

Obama is obviously very comfortable with his mixed-race and it is us that is uncomfortable. I think that we should be embarrassed as a country that there are people who vote based solely on race. And I still feel that this race was racial...some states had a HUGE majority of the black voters voting for obmana...over 90%.. This means that about half of these only voted because he was black.
