I accept CHRIST as Lord and my deliverer, but I can't figure out why I can't hold to his word. I know the love and compassion of CHRIST but this world is so easy 2 get caught in. I know that I know my level of understanding can't fight the illusions of the devil. CHRIST alone kept me with his everlasting love even in the my depth and former puppy love of sin, but I can't seem 2 hold to his word. There are those who make a living as gospel singers because there is a market for people who buy "gospel" music, but not everything that we or the music industry classifies as "gospel" is true gospel. This woman of God is one who worships Him in spirit and in truth. She is one we want our daughters looking up to.

I'm listening to gospel music tonight because I need strength. I feel so alone. I suffer a disease that I never know if I will wake up every time I sleep. Going to bed is like walking to a death sentence every night - then it is cruelly put on me again as I wake up to do it all over again. I put off sleep as long as possible til I am too exhausted to stay awake. Two nights ago I broke down and cried out loud for hours - a grown man. I've been fighting too long - how do I surrender? @Mindlesslover1000: Did you even listen to the song? The whole point of the song is to surrender ALL of yourself to God. That includes what you think and what you say. Whether you were joking or not is beside the point. How would a non-Christian interpret what you said? Did you really glorify God in your comment? God couldn't care less if someone "dislikes" Him on YouTube--He's GOD. So if you follow Him, you shouldn't either.

There's just something about CeCe, her voice, something happens when she sings. . What is it? It is the holy spirit, the anointing of God. She is a worshipper, her heart is pure. There are those who make a living as gospel singers because there is a market for people who buy "gospel" music, but not everything that we or the music industry classifies as "gospel" is true gospel. This woman of God is one who worships Him in spirit and in truth. She is one we want our daughters looking up to.

I'm listening to gospel music tonight because I need strength. I feel so alone. I suffer a disease that I never know if I will wake up every time I sleep. Going to bed is like walking to a death sentence every night - then it is cruelly put on me again as I wake up to do it all over again. I put off sleep as long as possible til I am too exhausted to stay awake. Two nights ago I broke down and cried out loud for hours - a grown man. I've been fighting too long - how do I surrender? I can't.
