and yeah i wasn't expecting their waves to be that powerful, i thought i drowned because all i remember was this huge wave coming and then being on the shore and people laughing at me because they said it was just so incredible where i was and how far i landed on the beach from this wave haha :]
yes, their waves are pretty big. well, bigger than the ones down in florida like panama city, destin or daytona. myrtle's waves can actually knock you over and carry you to shore!
I stay at the Yachtsman when i go to Myrtle. I like it there, it's right there at Pier 14, and this year, practically next door to the SkyWheel.
