Animal Tronics Spotted Hyena

I don't get why you wanted it so bad. The movements seem kinda minor, and slight. The animations are just kinda mild. To each their own, but I don't get what's so special about it. Even if you like that exact sort of thing, which you obviously do, this particular Hyena doesn't seem like it does anything special. I'm just surprised that there's not a better animatronic figurine out there with better animations and a little more movement. I know nothing about these things, just a first impression.

@Narancazz Well toys like these are getting difficult to find. However just because they are hard to find doesn't = valuable. So far most have sold for below their retail price on ebay. Maybe you might get lucky.

The image is quite good but the sounds are well off, hyenas don't 'yap' like that and they don't howl either, they whoop and when they do so they point their muzzles towards the ground, not at the sky like wolves.

I found it as such an interesting toy that I figured others would want to see it too. So I uploaded it. I also threw in the offer just in case someone else might have it. I have not found another though. But if I figure out how to clone him, I'd probably make about half a dozen for my room with a switch on the floor mat to make em laugh. The Spotted Hyena is among my most favorite. The Wolf comes real close though.

I so totally WANT that! O.O omg... Even though hyenas do not howl, they actually whoop and, when they do so, they always point their noses to the ground (not to the sky, like a wolf might). It's still adorable. I must find one. *begins a tireless search*

i often draw hyenas but always spotted ones.

but they often look like wolfs with a very long neck and smaller jaws and dark hair on the neck. well once i tryied to make a different hyena who would be striped. but that one looked just like shenzi from lion king.and since that i have failed to draw a another striped.however i like spotted hyenas most! :)

Interesting, though hyenas do not raise their heads when they howl like wolves do. Instead they lower it to the ground.

Hehe they got it backwards! =P I found that the Polar Bear and Grizzly Bear I own had their sound effects set a bit fast. I think the hyena might have it's sound set a bit slower than it is supposed to be. I'll have to do some experiments with the RC circuit.

Oh I am very fortunate (and happy) to have found just one. I just wish they would have sold them in my area when they made them. I would have made a small hyena pack for my room. That wish is getting harder and harder to fulfill with each passing day.

Thank you. Wow Wee does not make these in vast quantities anymore, having become invovled in creating cybernetic robots rather than robots with flesh and skin. I prefer the flesh and skin robots myself.
