  • thanks man! It worked perfectly for me...i spend hours to solve this problem.. but this video simple and fast...

  • I have no "options" on category mnanager

  • This does'nt work

    Steps:

    1. Category Manager, Text Filters, Filter Type: No filtering.

    2. Plug in Manager, Editor - TinyMCE, Basic Options, Clean code on lode: Off and Clean code on Save: Never, Phohibited elements: if there is iframe or script, erase it.

  • This works, but nothing seems to allow iframes to work in category descriptions as I need in my case. Ideas?

  • Good!

  • Hi there,

I have followed your instruction here to turn off TinyMCE's "Clean code on save" and it doesn't work, but I can't find "No Filtering" in the options list. Can you give a bit more detail instruction please?

  • Thnaks for replay me,

  • Omg thx finaly got it to work! just had to disable "clean code on save" and set "no filtering" in article manager :)

  • @phatpsphacker Thank you so much!!

  • Where exactly is the "code cleanup" option? I can't seem to locate this.

  • @HousingPartnershipNY Go to Extensions -> Plug-in Manager and find your editor, TinyMCE is the default joomla WYSIWYG editor. Click on your editor and look on the right under the Basic Options. There are "clean code on load" and "clean code on save" options. turn them off. further down there is also a prohibited elements box. if iframe is there too, delete it.

    Hope that helps.

Also, for it to work for me, i had to select "No Filtering" in the options list shown instead of making a white list

  • @AdamBlackhall

thanks a lot - it did help me.

  • Where exactly is the "code cleanup" option? I can't seem to locate this.

  • bad news after i pressed safe and closed the video was gone from the article, any ideas why? after i disable iframe when i pressed html button and entered youtube videos code and pressed update video appeared but when i press safe or safe and close its gone again

  • @eBaxas

You have to deactivate "code cleanup" in the options of your editor
