Weaver applied a legal full Nelson, the FILA 2007 rules say a full is illegal if not executed from the side without the use of the legs on any part of the opponent's body, but in 1984 you could use the legs too..he had a Full N on for 18 seconds..if it was illegal the ref would have called it..

I was a collegiate wrestler and can see that Weaver obviously used an illegal full nelson that was not called. The official did a shitty job.
