@stitchesful She has done other Broadway shows like State Fair, Les Miserables (Fantine), and Beauty and the Beast (Belle) as well as national tours of Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Les Miserables (as Eponine, I think?), and a bunch of others. Lately she has been doing more regional musicals like Gypsy, Urinetown, Annie, etc.

@linklarkin93... You are correct. She played Eponine in the national tour which I saw with my mother YEARS ago. Also interesting to note is that her daughter played young Cosette ("Castle On A Cloud") in the same tour. Cool, huh?

B'way producers are NUTS to not be banging on her door for casting. She should be playing any & all of the most coveted roles on Broadway right now. You name it, Andrea could freaking play it, & not just play it but PLAY it. Not sure why she has some trouble breaking through, anyone out there who has any BWay conx, take this lady into consideration, her talent deserves to be leveraged. She is magical. That sandpaper but pipe sturdy skill, along w/ her adorable beauty, makes her a star.

just watched her in the movie Rainbow, about the young judy garland...never saw the movie before and was skeptical at first, but she shined the most in the singing parts of the movie. She did Judy Garland justice. Can't say much more than that.

I love that movie, I think it's one of the best TV movies ever. Her voice didn't have quite the same timbre as Judy Garland's, but it was effective nonetheless. Her acting was top notch and her voice fits torch songs so well. Of course, hearing her sing the Broadway classics is nothing to sneeze at! :)

I was sad to see that she has mainly done regional theatre since Annie. Only one international tour in her adult career. She is so freaking good that I am surprised. Wonderful to hear her again. It has been some time.

yeah but she's also played some of the most coveted roles on Broadway. She played Fantine in Les Miz and Belle in Beauty & The Beast (& the longest running Belle at that) in addition to being in the original Broadway cast of Starlight Express and being pretty much the only interesting element about State Fair on Broadway. Very few performers can claim those kinds of credits. And I guarantee you she will be back on Broadway. Don't be sad, she has a solid career in the medium she loves.

I was in the first grade when I saw her in Annie's original run (with her, anyway).

She was amazing then, and still is now. I am surprised she didnt go into acting, as she always had such a Jodi Foster kind of vibe...very natural, and precocious for such a young girl.
