Mexico had it's own dress style and wide brimmed hats for ranching purposes. The cowboy hat that is associated with the U.S. is the American style of ranching hat. Mexicans wear our style of cowboy hat and seem to have largely abandoned their own in favor of ours. On top many other American style clothes.

Mexico had it's own dress style and wide brimmed hats for ranching purposes. The cowboy hat that is associated with the U.S. is the American style of ranching hat. Mexicans wear our style of cowboy hat and seem to have largely abandoned their own in favor of ours. On top many other American style clothes.
