It took me almost a year to pass 4H horns. And don't trying tricking the gem by thinking you can kill the desert blow first. No fucking way. The other blos enters the desert and then you have problems. serious problems.

Great job. I'm a sword and shield user myself. You had a couple wasted sonic bombs, but an excellent ass kicking nonetheless. You good sir have mastered the art of the Diablos.

How did you manage to record a PSP though without using a handheld camera? Cause I'm wanting to do a LP of MHFU.

@kenshinscott I don't know if there's a village quest version of Four Horns, but I do know I beat the guild hall quest with a friend of mine. We downed the last Diablos with 2:24 remaining.

Funny enough, the technique you used with flash bombs and sonic bombs is what I used to help me take them down. The only advice I can really give is bring shock traps and the materials to make two more, and then 10 sonic bombs with the materials to make 10 more of those.

@redtrolly there is a vilage version of the quest as alot of the vilage quest u see in the gathering hall but yes i use sonic bombs flash bombs and shork traps never work they ether keep distroying it comming up from below or they go to a next area of the map and trap get wasted i really need help with this quest its hard bringing down one of them and they both seem to be together every time plus i run out of room in my bag since i bring lots of potions and items to make both sonic and flash

@kenshinscott Just in case you don't know the mats required for both, they are as follows:

Shock Trap = Genprey Fang & Trap Tool

Sonic Bomb = Gunpowder & Screamer

@kenshinscott Shock traps aren't necessarily useless, just stay away from it when he digs, then just hope he'll charge eventually. And no, I don't really know what armor gives you ear plug, you should check the wiki for that one.

@redtrolly I know but when i used them he keep digging under them aand wont charge at me or digs to a next area of the map making my shock traps useless but I beat this quest and found out the rathelos soul armor set give u ear plugs thanks I got it am now stuck on Felyne Elder Quest were i have to fight the khezu damn i hate fighting that monster the only monster in the game I hate to fight lol :P

@kenshinscott Yeah, Khezu has tons of HP it seems... and it can't see you so you can't do that dive when you run away in fear that helps dodge attacks. Fire is its bane though. Cept for the red Khezu, that one is weak to something I forget and highly resistant to fire

@redtrolly thanks the red one is weak to water i hate fighting it becouse it attacks r deadly i use to always gun it down but it got a new attack making it nose long like a wip and gunner armor weak so i die but yeah it does seem to have alot of hp i beat the felyne elder one with my long sword but skiped the red one lol how far are u in the game? am hr 2 stuck on ugent tigerx jjust to hard :( and am at 9* for felyne elder how about u man? :) and yeah lol am seriouly addicted to this game :P

im doing the guild hall urgent quest vesion of this mission,im using full garuga armor and sentouryo wolf when i first did the elder quest version i had no problems,i decided to try using a frost edge coz i read that guild quest monsters are a bit more harder to kill than the elder quest ones using a weapon diablos weak against will make the mission easier,always end up running out of time... any advice?

Damn, I did it. :O

It took 45 minutes and I ran out of drinks but at half hp in the hot area with the second one, I had no hope because with 5 minutes left and almost dead (I died twice already) But it fell over and I took my last swing at its head and my weapon got unsharpened and it died. It was epic. :D

this quest was so easy when you keep practicing on the single one once you get the hang of its move you should be good enoung to beat the four horns.and if you lure them both on the same place you have a possible chance of recieving majestic horn. this quest is muuch easier if you use either frost blade+ or oddessy (both wta atrributes).

For those of you who have MHFU, I suggest you farm the Azure Rathalos for materials and make the Rathalos Soul set. It has Hear Prot, Attack, and Expert.

Also, as you're almost ready to kill the last one, it screams like a bitch! And at rank 1 you can't get high grade earplug as a sword smith. you are constantly covering your ears(can't control that. game takes over and it allows the beast to get a free hit). But man was I happy when I killed that thing. I was now able to get joiner grasshopper and make wolfdo. It is like raven heirloom but lite weight and more powerful. I killed the village dragon invasion with it. Damn!

It took me over a year to finally beat this motherfucker four horns!!! In MH you have to think like a fucking tactiition man. In the end I took to the battle mega demon drug, mega juice, flash bombs, screemers, gunowder, plesio water sword, well done steak, sonic bombs. nI had armor that gave me heat negation and autotracker! DAMN!!! And don't try to be smart and kill the desert one first. The 2nd one enters the desert and hell is unleashed on your ass.

I've manged to beat one with my PBS. The best way is to just keep flashing them then go for the legs. also you can block the digging attack, though it costs you a little bit of health, which lets you get straight back into him. I only use ioprey armour (gotta love negated poison) so i imagine a better armour set would help alot more. Keep at it and good luck!

in all honesty i wouldn't use a sns for this quest, i tried frost edge+, it didnt help me much, so i would go w/ either eager cleaver or that plesioth water blade

this quest is even more annoying in freedom unite! the diablos spend like 7 seconds underground then pop up in a totaly random spot! u could stand still and not get hit! (lol and then they move to fast in the g rank quests!)

are you doing elder? because the g-hall urgent dosnt give paintballs, rations, or cool drinks, only gives maps and potions. and i cant do Four Urgent to rank up. its impossile for me. i used poison battle axe, frost edge+ , and i started one with Plesioth Watersword but abanonded because i forgot whetstones. i cant get the first down in under 50 mins.

I still have memories of the original Four Horns Mission Online for the PS2. 11,000+ health apiece for the two of them, that was just crazy trying to solo it. I noticed that paintballs don't help with seeing the Diablos underground anymore like they did with the PS2 version. Kind of makes this a bit more challenging.

Diablos is strong against fire. Use a water weapon.

Lol I now have full Tigrex fully upgraded, HR5 almost 6 and am on my way to full set pof Rath Soul, I have true Decvil Slicer and loads of great weps, but still have not done this quest. I dont think I've ever attempted cus my friends all say its way hard same with Dual Plesioth quest, But I killed both of them in the same area! I think I can do this one aswell... Maybe XD

To get a rathalos plate you must cut its tail off and carve it, its easy to t the tail with a SNS when he is shooting fireballs, it should take 2/3 combos to do it. Higher rank rathalos has a bigger chance for the plate.

ok so i'm stuck on the Urgent Quest (guild) Four Horns, any1 have a suggestion on how to solo that? i can use just about any weapons and can attain anything that is HR1 its starting to tick me off cuz i really need to do this so i can start getting better weapons......btw nice video quality

i used plesioth water sword, and i think full rathalos armor, or some combo of rath armor and something else, for the perks. First try removing the first blos horn by using the ledge in area 10, also use the ledge to sharpen your sword. Make use of sonic bombs to trap him and get free hits. Followed by pitfalls. Try and remove his tail, then attack his soft underbelly. You should aim to take the first blos in 15-20 mins, then move onto the second. Rinse and repeat, only go all out on the 2nd.

it might be a glitch, try again. Generally, blos doesn't leave many oppurtunities to lay pitfalls, especially when enraged, and considering the time constrainsts, perhaps you should keep attackings, and use the sonic bombs as a means to trap him. If it can be done solo, it can be done with you and your brother. I suggest you both use full gravios armor and plesioth water sword.

stratch the rathalos armor, i actually used gravious armor, it is possible to obtain early on, and has excellent defense and skills. Hope this helps.

I believe in MHF1 water is diablos biggest weakness. But in MHF2, he is weak to water on the body, and electricty on the tail stub.

ok i finally beat it, took me about 40-44 minutes, i did it in full Kirin (minus the arms, i think those were gravios) and with the Eager Clever, i suggest for soloing bring enuf items for at least 20 sonics, 5 flash bombs are nice, 1+2 books of combos, 10 potions, 10 mega potions, 10 honeys (just keep making mega potions), paint balls (obviously), AND CUTTING OFF BODY PARTS IS A MAJOR HELP!!!!!! oh and have ur felynes cook like Blessed Wine and Dragon Head (Drink + Meat) atk and health up

Well, Diablos has alot more health in the first MH compared to the ones on here.
