I am personally really exited about everyone in the world owning a camera, a person with an iphone has as much of a right to say there a photographer as a person with a 5D. It forces the lifelong career photographers to up their game, and become more than a photographer. I hate when Magnum announces the death of photography, by basically not adapting to the enviroment that we have to live in,with internet, social networking.
People do alot of advertising on social sites these days and im building my photography business to cater to these people. 10 years ago you would have proofs for your photographs then you choose the ones you like and get the print weeks later. With digital photography my clients keep all of the photographs and usually receive them within 3 days or less for alot cheaper than traditional photographers. The landscape is changing and im changing with it.
