Okay...very unprofessional. This practice actually uploaded a video that profiles complaints about someone not setting up sterile trays. Then one of the docs tells the nurse manager (I'm assuming) that she's apparently paying someone who's not doing anything. Not a good marketing tool. What else is incorrectly done there? I am a nurse & I wouldn't let them touch me after listening to them complain about their incompetent workers. The OR is not the place for that! Screams "dont come here!"
Here is how you don't fix bunions. It does not help the lady pain management wise to make an incision on the top of the foot. Guess where all the nerves and blood vessels are. She will be in major pain for at least six weeks.
@1triketec well they do that, precisely, bc when the patient starts to wear [certain] shoes after the surgery, the doctor does not want the scar rubbing against the side, which may cause more pain.
i have been putting it off for a while now to get this done. and i will put it off a little longer. ahhhhh i dont know what to do, i know it has to get done but gee wizz. i cant belive this is how it has to be done.
I had my bunion and "dedo martillo" operated on (ten moths, ago) here in Santiago/ Chile. It seems the pain has gotten worse since. The surgeon told me that it will takes more than a year to overcome the readjustment pains. I am a female of 50kg and 1.58m. Is there something I can do or hope for? Thank you for the good advice.
What? I had this done and they didn't stick needles in my leg, or hammer that drain into my foot at all. This is crazy. She doesn't even have bad bunions.
@themanchild27 I think it's because there's no blood vessels/veins in the tissues they're working with. Earlier you could see a vein that was blue, but I think that's about it that's in the foot.
Can't wait to have my right foot done! About one more month to wait! Yay! Thanks for posting this video, now that I see what will be done to my foot, I am actually excited about the whole thing, interestingly... :))
These Dudes are cracking jokes during surgery!!!! Lmao...They have to be good at this procedure!!!! I guess i'm ready...Bunion Surgery here I come!!!!!!
I had this surgery done back in December on my left foot and am not supposed to get the other foot done for a while due to scheduling conflicts. I didn't look up any videos until now. I can't believe this happened to my foot. Oh my God hahaha. Anyone that is getting this surgery: I felt almost no pain afterward. The soreness in my armpits hurt more than my foot. The scarring is what you would expect. I have smaller feet than this woman did, so my incision wasn't as big. But my scar is just a sk
@y0shisgrl i went thru this surgury once and yes you sleep thru the whole thing. they usually do one foot at a time. i am having my other foot done on the 2nd of december. my heal time is quick. it took me 2 months to fit in a regular shoe. there is bruiseing and to me the bruise hurt worse after about a week than the actual surgical site. i took pain meds for about a week then i didnt need them anymore. the only pain i feel after 11 months is when the weather changes my toe gets sore.
Holy cow! This surgery video is scaring the hell out of me. The surgery is on the big toe, but it seems like the surgeon is sticking everything possible into her leg...damn
How long will one be out of work after surgery cause i need to let my boss know? How long do you have to not put pressure on your foot after surgery? Also, why is this surgeon injecting into this lady's thigh when the surgery is on her big toe...very odd?
If I do the surgery for the both of my feet. how long will it take for me to recovered from the surgeries. I a, so afraid to do the surgeries that I need to do to correct my feet. Any words of advice. Please any body give me advice please! please!
