All the IIHS tests are standard; same conditions and we always see american cars get ass fucked! especially before 2006 and 2007, now they are much better. However, my point is that these trucks when in real accident on the street they will smash their opponent really bad.....so in real life cases conditions are different. Here same speed but weight is more so impact is stronger. But when such heavy vehicles hit another cars.....believe me they will destroy them...I saw it and sure u all did

look at 0:11 compared too the silverado crash test at 0:12 . The crash looks practically the same besides the dodge being a bit higher, both did pretty good overall. I've actually been in one crash in my 08 Ram 1500 (same generation as this one), I T-boned an oncoming 2000s Mercury Sable after passing out behind the wheel. My Dodge (which I did get fixed) just had some cosmetic damage to the front bumper. The sable was totalled, drivers side was completely caved in!

If you guys watch the F-150 one it is WAY worse. Stick with the ram. And you can ram all you want. If you it a car or even another truck you will be fine. But if you hit solid steel your fucked. but there isn't a car in the world that can hit that and drive off. My friend got hit by a ram in his Rapture and it almost split is car in half. The ram was hurt but It could be fixed. his car was scrap metal.
