Windows = unpredictable behaviour. If sth crashes, you need to do a lot to get it back to work.

UNIX was created by engineers (unlike Windows), what makes it easier to find any problem if sth crashes. That's from my experience and my mate who's a I.T. geek and knows a lot about different OS's.

But from all Windows I've used so far, Win2K is my fav desktop OS. My primary OS is MAC OS X though.

Windows Advantage: you can install it on many machines.

But me, I prefer ready solutions which is,for instance SOFT+HARDWARE n I know they gonna work together seamlessly.

If I wanted to do some Visual FX using Flame, Flare and Maya, I'd use this ready solution: "3d Visual FX using Flame, Flare and Maya at IBC 2009"

In MAC OS X I use if sth hangs (happens extremely rarely) I use FORCE QUIT in Activity Manager - n it does its job, unlike Windows Task Manager - it happens to ignore my commands - you klick END PROCESS n nothing happens. You need to reboot Windows then saying goodbye to unwanted irritating pop-up bubbles or some work you didn't save.
