  • cual es el nombre de la cancion en el minuto 1:21 ???

    diganme por favor !

  • Imagine if these guys joined the GIGN...

  • "we are the first ones who did this... bla bla bla.... we created these movements... bla bla bla... " have you ever heard of Jacky Chan? he been doing it in his movies since 70's. not to mention Ninja, Hassasin, and.... bla bla bla...

  • Isn't that Free Running

  • parkour?

  • Holy shit I would break my legs trying this..

  • If thy were running because thy rob a bank the would totally out run them!!!!! Watch. (mini mars pop kids grenade )plz and watch it and like it and yaya

  • i bet these guys are champs at running from the cops

  • it's awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • This isn't true at all, parkour was really created by Altaïr ibn La-Ahad about 900 years ago in order to free run to successfully assassinate his targets.

  • They remind me of mirrors edge...

  • How do they jump so high over the fence?

It seems effortless. It's almost inhuman to be able to jump that high.

  • I used to do parkour then I took an arrow to the knee

  • Cool

  • "we were the first ones to do what we our doing" go fuck yourself it was invented by french soldiers who saw africans moving really freely in their jungle environment .... people have been doing this for years get over yourself.

  • @Rland0123 .......david belles father was one of those soldiers who were trained to move through their environment.......then he showed his son david belle and then he and his friends the yamakasi perfected it created the philosophy behind parkour and introduced it to the world via the media.....btw are not our....

  • The asians were one of the first who practiced wallruns, climbing and jumping from heights. Then african people for about 600 years ago, showed some europeans flips and spins. Wikipedia...

  • french fags didnt invent parkour. africans did

  • @itsGdublan Who gives a shit. Do you see them doing it now? No. Because the French was INSPIRED by it, and they continue the art form. Don't hate because you can't do it.

  • @jLoves951 if they were inspired they would have given africans credit but instead it is known as a french sport. europeans are all terrorists.

  • its freerunning so just call it that, not 'urban ballet' you queer!

  • okay i'm done analyzing...the fact is, those movements are mostly dependent on the rhythm of architecture. the have patterns, so it's highly possible and humane...like acrobats. though if challlenging in the wilderness with the fragile couture of the soil or cliff (for example) i'm not sure they will survive...i think most of them just over reacting in investing so much on these things

  • okay those boys are HOT!!!! plus the accent...my heart melts

  • this isn't "yamakasi" its "parkour" and it's been type of sports for decades

  • @b3qAa

no parkour havent existed for decades. you're talking about movements. yes they have. but parkour, no.

  • @RedRiverChannel That sounds nice, but its acutually dead wrong. Ask any "real" Traceur and they will tell you that parkour has probably been around since the dawn of man, animals do parkour, David belle himself said he just gave it a name, and the name itself is nearly a definition. Its not like a sport where you can say

"yea he has a board with wheels but its not skateboarding", David once said if you have ever took the stairs becuase the elevator was slow, then you have performed parkour.=)

  • @TEQparkour

The movements in parkour have existed since pre-history - yes. Parkour simply Haven't.

It's like saying Taek Wondo have existed forever because all humans have been fighting. This is not true. Parkour is a method of training and the philosophy is inspired by Bruce Lee's Jeet Kun Do, aswell as georges herberts ''methode naturelle'', davids father raymond belle, and of course the whole yamakasi.

  • @RedRiverChannel That is true.

  • 1:32 reminded me of Rush hour 3 when carter says for the asian to stop speaking french and speak right

  • What's the name of the movie they were in? I forget.

  • Free running with aerial flips, or parkour for speed.

  • Umm freerunning .. I do it on a daily basis.

  • its called parkour ...i do it all the time -.-

  • @hardcommunist : If you listen at the end, it's clear said that they won't show the dangerous moves. Look for Yamakasi's eraly videos and you will guys jumping from rooftops to rooftops, balcony etc ... And they still do this training after 20 years of pratice! In fact the documentary "Generation Yamakasi" shows better how they train and teach the "Art du Deplacement" (Art of Motion) other people which is close to Parkour and Freeruning. A good portrait of who they really are ...

  • its called parkour ..

  • Damn! If they run from the cops,it will be crazy.

  • @hardcommunist ..Some people train by the wrong reasons..are you one of those regional gymnastic sportman?

  • 1:43 their actual plan is to keep people from entering parkour.. "it should never under any sircumstances be attempted by armateurs" then how can you learn it? thumbs up if the people from Yamakasi should be the ones doing the commenting!

  • @FreeRiderDZ That's just covering their own asses legally, so no idiots go out and fall on their faces then try to sue ripley's for showing it to them.

  • I tell u wats crazy the asian guy talking french.!

  • @icandygraphics I fear I must point this out as a rather quaint comment my friend...it's 2011 man and the world has seen accelerated globalization in the past century...surely you do not think that France is made up of only prototypical "white French people in berets"? It's a country like any other that has had high immigration post WWII, so its current population is as diverse as the US, UK, other Commonwealth nations etc.

  • fucking douchebags trying to take credit

  • oh really! i've seen this b4,im trying to think when and where uuuum. Jackie chan? wanna beesssss. if u think it, 99% probably someone, somewhere did it already.this shit is old! NINJA SHIT, Japanese invented this.

  • first........mmm...I think he needs to go watch some old jackie chan movies.

  • this guy is such a dipshit

  • i tried that i broke every bone in my Body i taking their asses to court

  • @GreatestMexicanEver You're great.

  • @FyerBear thanks

  • What's the name of the documentary that was to come out with these guys?

Whatever you call it; Yamakasi, Parkour, Urban ballet... it's something I sure as hell know I can't do,and 99.99% of the over-weight smart asses who want to correct the name of this video or complain about anything these young men are saying or doing CAN NOT even dream of standing anywhere near the foot-steps of these athletes. They call it Yamakasi, you call it Parkour,I call it something fucking awesome and we can't do it

  • wtf 1:10 !!

  • @semfeesher yeah that was ridiculous.

  • ITS CALLED PARKOUR

  • i reckon they will win parkour competitions

  • I want to see cops chase them

  • parkour yaa retards!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Uhhh.....weren't Yamakasi David Belle and Sebastian Foucan's first students of Parkour...? SO, if they were...they are not even acknowledging their teachers...=_=

  • hey...what is the name of the movie?!

  • Parkour? Lol

  • no you are not who created this movement DAVID BELLE did

  • and david belle the inventor

  • @ligeraku the movies is called: Yamakasi

  • parkour is old and boring now there is to many free runners now

  • what is the movie they are staring in

  • yeah, this is bs.

  • U say yamakasi I sau kamakasi, oh yea 1 more thing... WTH could they posibly do to not be able to not show it, omg he scaling up the building we can't show that!!!

  • Why map it out? Just go with the flow...

  • @weBjammin625 if you dont map you can get hurt , plus that shows you have a good parkour vision , i got hurt once i vaulted some little wall but the other side was a 15 ft drop bad day for me .

  • @robslog So you probably should have just went and looked over the edge before you just blindly went for it. You don't need to carry around a map with you to know where you should or shouldn't jump lol Having a map with you doesn't display good parkour vision, it shows a lack of it, in my opinion.

  • @robslog diferent people diferent opinions pe@ce

  • That is PARKOUR !!

  • theres so much information that is wrong in this

  • @PhazePK This is coming from an amature, but fuckin' A right there is. If even the newbie knows that someone screwed up big.

  • um.. parkour anyone?

  • that is so cooooooooool i am going to try and do it!!!

  • that is so cooooooooool i am going to try and do it!!!

  • 01:11 cool!!! not bad...

  • Lol just because he once was supermand he still do not have to wear glasses

  • i guess this is were they got mirror's edge from

  • lol that asian talking in french reminded of me the Asian who talked in French in Rush Hour 3

  • aller vs les best les meilleurs

  • Its all just movment does it really matter who created or started it? if you sit here argueing your missing out on conditoning or even training...Now go and get on wih it allready :/

  • @TheJustMotion Its lame when they claim the honor of being creators of parkour thou they call it yamakasi you can see it for yourself that its the same thing

  • @TheJustMotion michael jackson's dance was movement. It does matter who the creator is. The creator is an icon to others.

  • i wanna learn how to do this so bad

  • @DevonteThatDon all you have to do is step outside your door. Its that simple.

  • FAck you all !

  • Parkour, the original art of "Run or Surrender' classic tactic of the french army.

  • ballet + building jumping? FUCK YOU

    parkour = life

  • @inuysha360 Parkour means a lot of different things to different people, my friend. For some, it is merely a showy, fun way of having a good time (Freerunning comes under this as well), for others, it is a way of life that they adhere to in all aspects.

Me? I borrow from both, I use Parkour as a way to have some insane fun with my friends, whilst I also use aspects of Parkour in everyday life, overcoming obstacles with schooling, work etc.

  • Was urban ninja first?

  • These guys are bull shirted they never created it and they weren't the first it was the French army he created parkour

  • what was the name of the movie they were in? im remember watching it.

  • @ToXicTeArs3000 It was called Yamakasi.

  • @alltheway3 oh ryt, i got it confused with another film called district 13 o.O

  • 2:55 the doggy is like: "OUCH!"

  • Lol some of their stunts are to dangerous to be shown on T.V wtf is that

  • nice there is a cool stunt between 1:10 and 1:15

    its very nice

  • eminem

  • I think parcour was created not in a sport but in a coreographic way by Jackie Chan.

You see many of these escenes on his movies.

  • @gerdrummer This post is fail in so many ways. Also spell parkour correctly.

  • @vigoratus11 i'm zorry man. Don't you see I THINK? If you know the very first person who did this then just relax. teach us, could you? it would be a pleasure to know more about this sport... Parkour

  • wtf you show parkour on this show but you can show things like people having there nipples pierced to the ground damn

  • Wtf?! Not a single fucking mention of the word PARKOUR!

  • Ahhh parkour, the most magical sport in history with a great ability to both physically and mentally build a person.

  • @AzzA1332 It isn't a sport, it's a discipline.

  • @danfrost313

seriously? THAT'S all you got from my comment? A little play on semantics? That's just sad.

  • @AzzA1332 No it isn't sad, it's a definition that is set in stone. That's like me calling a cake something which it isn't.

  • @danfrost313

Again with the semantics...so, so sad.

  • @AzzA1332 If paying attention to detail is something you find sad, you're going to lead an unfulfilling life.

Although I do agree with your original comment, you must have just assumed that I didn't. Fail :)

  • @danfrost313

I'm going to pardon your persnickety.

  • get them in army

  • hay un monton de esos en peru jajaja!

  • great them fucks can jump my chain link fence and rob my ass :(

  • assassins creed!

  • Freerunning and parkour. It's simple.

  • parkour

  • free running also ?

  • they could easily out run the cops!

  • which channel does this come on??? :/

  • @kingmcbrian used to come on scifi, Or SyFy now, Not to sure anymore.

  • you really need upper and lower body strength to do this and also jump high dam i wanna learn this but im not fit -.-

  • This is free running...

  • parkour was started during world war I and II by Georges Hébert who was a naval officer who was inspired by some of the african tribes he met, the courses he used were called parcours. he later moved to france to teach it to other people including Raymond Belle who taught it to his son David Belle. In 1990 david dropped out of school so he could get more serious with the sport and hes ended up making it famous. so these guys arent even close to being the ones who created it.

  • @TheObviousHero

David Belle didn't create the movements...But he named the movements and created a philosophy for it.

Thats why we call it parkour..

  • @TheObviousHero Plagraised straight from wikipedia like a pro.

  • @TheObviousHero Dude, don't you know David Belle was one of the founding members of Yamakasi? He was the one who introduced art du déplacement to them in the first place. And don't you come hear and talk shit about the Yamakasi, you obvioulsy have to read alot more PK history to understand anything going around before saying such a dumb thing.... You should be ashame!

  • @FelJocke yes, i do know that, but i only had so much room to type. That doesn't mean that the members of Yamakasi started it, or even David Belle himself. It was around long before these guys became a part of it.

  • @TheObviousHero true ;)

  • @TheObviousHero actually it was le movement natural or something

  • @TheObviousHero he is right yamakasi it's the world first parkour klan but it wasant invented by them

  • @TheObviousHero

What do you mean? David wasn't alone. It was the Yamakasi INCLUDING David and Sebastien that created this dicipline, first called art du déplacement, then called parkour and freerunning.

  • @TheObviousHero nein you´re fuckin liar yamakasis have enough skill and the parkour is a copy...i am not surprised about it...

  • @TheObviousHero Misinformation is dumb....did you know david belle and sebastien were with the yamakasi in the beginning?

  • @TheObviousHero yes!!!! im not the only one who did deep research into parkour!!!

  • @TheObviousHero actually, Georges Hébert created a form of urban movement that translates into something along the lines of "natural method" david belle learned this method from his father and evolved it into his own style calling it "parkour" so yes, david belle did in fact create parkour.

  • nigga said u jump with ur mind

  • @emmany14 I think it has to do with muscle memory

  • its funny how they say that there the first to do this! like wtf this was invited by the army to get a soldier from one place to another safely/ THis has been around the world! there were not the ones to invite this .lmao there good, but i seen better!

  • @MrHalirious You need to read more.... what the soldiers learned was art du déplacement a disciplin invented by George Hébert and yes people have moved since the age of man. But Belle and the rest of yamakasi was the ones inventing a whole bunsh of new moves and adapted it to the streets as well as the nature. They don't say they stole it, if you search for the facts and read about it before hatin next time...

  • haha...looks like they invented a new sports dedicated to jackie chan

  • how do they call this ballet? compare it to gymnastics or something. this isnt anything like ballet

  • @philupmybucket

    @philupmybucket

i believe they compare it to the movements itself. parkour/add is a little bit like dancing with your enviorment; you link movements together and try to do them very fluid, quiet, precise, besicly what you aim for when you practise ballet.

  • this is were EA got its motivation for "mirrors edge"

  • how in any way is this comparable to ballet

  • Man, this is like assasins creed in real life!

  • @kevlore123 I swear to god if I see another comment like this im going to hunt down the poster and kill the bitch. What do you think they based assassins creed off of

  • Can they parkour over a bullet is the real question.

  • "It is not the muscles you jump with..... it is with your mind you jump with...." that sounds like some jedi bullshit :D but i still do believe mind is a big part of the jump but you aint goin nowhere without power in your legs.....

  • is in that freeruning O_O

  • @1995salvador.. no man, this was the first ADD( art du deplacement ) team ever.. in some way the founded the principles about parkour/freerunning :)

  • @1995salvador, Yeah, that's was I thought, too! But I dunno....

  • Yes, Yama-kaji means Moutain fire or Forrest fire. Many Japanese villeger calls each other when it is in disaster to evacuate . then the movement & name exported to Europe. kids talks eachother the name of this sports. then spelling has changed in time. The group "Yamakasi" pick up the name of this sports among young kids then named after it as a group then they made the film. Understand? Good. Just be straight & be A Man that's all it takes.

  • @maxinpains A direct quote from their website: The word Yamakâsi is often thought to be Japanese but it is actually from Lingala. It can mean, strong body, strong spirit, strong person, but in French the closest translation is high energy, which is an accurate name regarding the sport.

You really do assume too much, including the gender of posters you can't see.

  • @littleorcs No sorry.

it's freaking Jap word. get over it & try to say " Karate" is French . LMAO.

  • 1:12-1:14 HE GOT HOPS SONNNN!!

  • since wen do they call themselves yamakasi? we're called traceurs or free runners n the practice is called parkour look it up

  • @miroku2473 It's the name of a specific group, I don't think they meant that's what everyone who does the sport is generally called, but I can see how it can come off that way.

  • @littleorcs oh ok.

  • we need more warriors like em..........

  • the word Yamakasi is wrong spelling. YAMAKAJI is correct. means Moutain fire in japanese. you run throu the forrest as fast as you can . it is originated from japan & French Misspelled it. so a wikipedia too

  • @maxinpains "The word yamakasi is taken from the Lingala language, which is spoken in both Congo states (the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo). Ya makási can mean "strong body", "strong spirit", "strong person.""

  • @littleorcs Nope. that's just sound similer words you pulled off from other country. Yamakaji isn't african word.

  • @maxinpains @maxinpains

Oh I did, did I. First of all you keep misspelling the word in order to pass it off as Japanese, then you maintain that you're right because it happens to translate to something in that language. If you paid attention you'd see that I was quoting--also if you go to these guys' website, they do in fact state for a fact that people mistake this for Japanese but it's in fact Lingala.

  • its freakin called PARKOUR

  • French invented it, it's a way of getting to ur location faster by rather going through/over objects rather then through em. PARKOUR FTW

  • that shit is insane some of you stupid motherfucker will try that shit and breack you neck

  • Wow......

  • parkour dumbass

  • LOL on 2:57. A dog mastrubating to the sight of the Yamakasi.

  • they are not daredevils

  • my friend n i do yamakasi.. that lot of fuN!

  • true parkour = David Belle

  • @BestiePK DB was in this team with the Yamakasi. Him and Seb dropped out afterwards.

  • @BestiePK true parkour=everone when kids

  • @BestiePK david belle was part of yamakasi
