Dude, heavy metal made a comeback in 2003-2004. Where the fuck were you. Metalcore is what started this whole revival. You are 6 years behind the times, most of those first metalcore bands are dying and boring now.
@NobleM15fan Heavy metal SEEMS to be making a comeback???? Have you been living under a rock for about 15 years? I mean, seriously... Metal never went anyway...well, it did...it went to Europe, but what happened was that the lamestream media gave up on it and went to rap and country. The 2000s have been the strongest metal decade since the '80s. From traditional metal all the way to power, thrash, and death metal. What helped it gain popularity again? YouTube and Amazon.com
@ThrashTillDeath73 It offends me that you consider the 90's a weak decade in metal. Look at Death, Atheist, Cryptopsy, Cannibal Corpse, Cynic, Opeth, Strapping Young Lad, Dream Theater...
look at bands like that and tell me that the 90's was a weak metal decade. Guess what? The 80's had hair metal. the 2000's had nu metal and metalcore.
There have always been terrible bands that take the spotlight, but metal has been full force since 1969.
@Bassbait First of all,I didn't directly mention the '90s, but to some extent I did. Sure the '90s, early to mid-'90s, saw a surgence in the Floridian Death Metal scene, and progressive bands like Dream Theater and such, but for the most part, if you were a fan of '80s metal (of all kinds), the 'music industry as a whole during the '90s sucked big hairy donkey balls. Because MTV suddenly decided one day in '93 or so that heavy metal was no longer cool. And rap ad grunge became the norm.

I wasn't really into music then. A lot of bands struggle to keep fresh after 5 years.

This is a really good song. Fantastic guitar and vocals - one of those songs that makes you want to do air guitar and mime the singing!
