I do think it's important to realise the power of sites like YouTube, though. If you post a video that mentions spearing a dugong for the dinner table without pointing out the difference between indigenous people hunting for food and other people hunting for sport / profit, you run the risk of endorsing criminal / cruel acts without intending to.

The meat and other parts such as the fins and liver are eaten while the skin is used as clothing, and the fat is used for skin treatments, sounds gross i know but it really worked in keeping the skin moist and such. It just offends me when people think they know when they dont. And when hunting for sport, what do people do with the carcus? They keep the head as a trophy but what about the rest?

Which he did, and thanks to him posting on YouTube, so has the rest of the world!! The dugong was hunted by some of the locals for food for their family, not so the man behind the camera could eat it. It is also absolutely legal for these people to hunt dugong.
