My favorite HPR kit is the LOC Caliber ISP It has flown all over board on G H I and finally a J motor (CTI J354 White Highly Recommend!!) Easy to build and strong.
I600R will put it to the test in a few weeks at ROC.
Oh also if someone is interested in serious high power look for a rocket with a 54mm MMT (Why I picked the Caliber ISP)
Also forgot to mention my lastest rocket was a scartch built 2.26 times up scale Estes Goblin. It use 3" BSD body tubes, 3" BSD ogive NC, 1/8" baltic birch fins, and it has a 38mm motor. It should be flying at the Nov Snow Ranch launch if I get the external fillets done by then. Also my next project is gona be a 38mm minimum diameter rocket using LOC tubes and an Acme 38mm fin can.
There is also Public Enemy Rockets they make some great rocket kits for some one that has built a few high power rockets before. I own two Public Enemy Kits the Performer and Extreme Performer they are both great. Also LOC kits are great I own the Weasel, Viper III, and Starburst. All great kits, but with the Starburst I regret building it with the two 24mm motor mount and I wish I put a 38mm in it. Also about AeroTech kits the Initiator is a great kit mine has 13 flights on it.
You also forgot the PML Phobos and X-Calibur both of which I own. Also I certified L1 with the PML Phobos. In addition I pranged my PML X-Calibur at XPRS V and it surrivied fairly well. I just need to get a new payload bay and nose cone. They are both great L1 rockets. Also about Q-tube it's not fin flutter it's friction and the plastic gets soft and the fins just shred off.
