i just got one of these brand new for 69.97 from a well known store. people slag it for its quality in dark rooms and the lack of image stabilisation at 1080p, but who cares, if you pay 70 quid or 130 quid in the video for a small hd video camera, you're not gonna expect to have footage worthy for Sky 1 HD are you now??

I use a Canon EOS 550D for my HD videos, I bought the S10 2 years ago, used it in good lightning and low light, performance was fucking terrible, sold it on ebay the next day. This camera isnt for me. It's fucking terrible in my opinion, if you don't like to hear it then fuck off and stop talking to me.

Black Fridays deal at office depot was supposed to be $89.99 only on black friday but i just bought one for that price a few days ago. Low light quality is kinda bad but over all, its okay. Ther is no digital zoom if you set the camera to 1080p. It will only zoom if it's set lower to utilize the 1080p as a zoom.

@VexorxStudios It's absolutely USELESS. This cam is so light that if you zoom more than 4x you cannot see anything. So you must have an extremely steady hand or a more weighted cam. Believe me, this cam works great as it is, to capture moments not to make star wars episode VII.

Don't buy this camera! The image captor gets little white spots that flicker on screen, and the image quality is terrible in general. The size is great, but you lose too much in terms of image quality.

Have just purchased this camera..returning it within 12 hours!

Video quality is the worst I have seen for years and sound isn't any better. You record a click every time you use the zoom which overpowers anything you are trying to record.

Controls are awkward and the overall feel in your hand is not quite right.

This really is nothing more than a very overpriced 'webcam' which is why I believe that they include a very small tripod.

They claim image stabilisation, except for 1080p recording mode.

i have this camera and it DOES NOT have 4x optical zoom, its 4x digital zoom and only 2x when set to 1080p. So they got that VERY wrong their. For "gadget reviewers" they should get their facts right as I feel that is the BIGGEST downfall of this camera, it is have NO zoom at all because the quality drops so badly when it zooms in digitally plus it doesnt even have a smooth motion when it does making the video look very jerky as it moves in closer.

I got a vado hd(see my vids) a while ago and its great but i do miss being able to take good still images. If this was around when i was deciding, i probably would have got this over the vado hd.

On another note the Vado quality is better than the Flip HD and the Kodak zi6

I recon This. its got a flip out screen so it actually looks like a video camera, so people will be more responsive. Wereas with the flip mino people will me more confused about what it is, and might just think you are taking a still shot, or even texting on your phone or something.
