I've got a Simplicity and so far I'm only guessing it's a L model. The tag or ID reads 49 and nothing else. I'm wondering how to get the drive belt hooked up, because currently there's an an idler pulley that require's constant tension by the operator. I was wondering if you could make a video how the belt is aligned and position of the lever. It's a one speed and no reverse. Any chance of making a video?
Hi, Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. This model is a four speed but the engine pulley was missing when i got the machine so I only have a single groove pulley on it now.

What are the two levers for by the handle bars. Double clutches?

One lever engages the drive wheels and the other lever is to engage implements like a front mounted sickle mower.
