  • Are the Hottoek sweet?

  • Hi, i wish to make these but i'm not sure about the type of dumpling wrapper you use --

  • @pbwaffable

any kind of dumpling wrapper will work actually.. you can use wonton wrapper too.. ^^

  • I made these a while ago. These were very delicious.

Thanks for your help for me (in New Zealand) to expand my Korean palette.

    :)

  • We just tried this & it is delicious! Can't wait to try the traditional version~:)

  • Thank you so much for this Aeri! I love Hoddeok so much, but it's so hard to make the dough (I'm a college student living far from home) so I don't have time to make it the traditional way. I tried this and it is so delicious! I made some for my roommates and they were so surprised with the delicious taste ^^ Thank you for sharing this recipe!

  • looks good, great video :D

  • No problem, I found a recipe for the dough. Thanks! Melissa

  • I wish you could come to my country and cook for me! :)) you're good!

  • Is this some kind of dessert or snack?

  • @SeelyA

    It can be both.. ^^

  • Seriously, sometimes only watching your videos fill me up.

  • looks soooo good!

  • i love love loveee how your videos are not too long and straight to the point yet watching ur videos makes me happy! :3

  • Do you think it's possible to substitute red bean paste for the inside filling?

  • @raininghard Dumplings are great for their versatility. You can practically fill them with anything, steam, fry, or bake them and they will turn out yummy. I make all kinds at my house because it is food my toddler will eat. I've tried this with bean paste, pot pie, chicken marinaded in Chipotle sauce, taco, potato and cheese, even mashed up sweet potato and vegetables. You do not always have to stick to traditional recipes. They go over great if you are entertaining guests or at a party.

  • @aquia80 omg! You are a pure genius! Those combinations sounds AMAZING! Thank you so so much!

  • @slin6363

    I think.. it will work..^^

  • 여름방학중에 이거 꼭 만들어봐야겠어요! ㅋㅋ^_^ Thanks for the recipe~!!

  • I love these, and this is easier than traditional dough. The dough is really good though...do you have a recipe for dough? I just use a regular yeast dough, in fact I use a bread machine dough recipe! It seems to be ok, but I think it is not exactly right.
